That was great. it makes me want to buy the wiiware games - this was the most enjoyable thing from HSR in a long time.

[quote="King Klear"]Awesome. It's amazing how they always perfectly nail the atmosphere of a game from any era.
It was great to see Dangeresque working with Renaldo for a change (as he always does)

BTW, anybody else got a feeling that the SWAT guy had to be played by the Poopsmith?[/quote]

That's what I was thinking. The SWAT guy was the Poopsmith.

Does anyone know if you need Flash Player 10 (rather than 9) to play this? I'd rather not install 10 on my comp because it doesn't display certain sites correctly, but it tells me I need flash player to play this.

I got the same message, and it linked me to the installation of Flash 9. So don't worry. ;)

Wait, so are you able to play it with FP9? or did you need to get 10?

I'm able to play it with Flash Player 9, but only since I downloaded it via the link. Because, for some reason, when I first tried to play with Firefox, the loading screen hang up and when I tried Internet Explorer, the loading screen didn't show up but instead I received the message to download Flash. I already had Flash, but after I downloaded it again, the game worked both on IE and Firefox.

What platform are you using? I'm using Vista, and it links me to download FP10 (never!)

it's possible that I don't have the latest version of FP9. if you're using firefox 3, can you go to tools-addons-plugins and see what shockwave flash says - mine is Shockwave Flash 9.0 r47

Windows 98, I can't even install the latest Firefvox. ;)
But there must surely be a way for you to get a better version of Flash 9 instead of 10, maybe google for it?

I Thnikkathat this game is too easy. As for all the games with multiple rooms that I played, I Thnikkathat they are too hard.

I also Thnikkathat :bubs: would win in a fight against :pom: . At least as the Thnikkaman he would.

When I first got a game over, I cracked up! But I'm not shure about this games replay value. Yet it was so fun, it still gets a 4/5!

If it weren't for Pom Pom, I'd swear that Homestar Runner was taking place in the late 80s. He just HAD to go & have a non-brick cell phone. We did have crappy lapops like the Lappy back in the 80s; heavy, expencive, no battery life.....

Does it seem plausible that the Chief is Strong Mad? He speaks in capital letters, yells, and the good ending has the Chief looking all rectangular. Only problem is the Chief's grasp of the English language, but still.

Played it, it was great. I hope there's more, because it didn't take me too long to beat.

Nice styles and music, too!

So, if this game is "Roomisode 1", then does that mean there will be more Roomisodes later?

[dangeresque]Prolly just play SBCG4AP Episode 4, no?[/dangeresque]
Lol, fake BBCode tags.

I had to read the walkthrough to find out how to do the stamp thing. And I lol'd when I heard the line at the end:
Dangeresque wrote:

Kinda weird that in the Takeout Man scene, they used Japanese writing instead of Chinese writing.
The Chief may be Marzipan... They have the same head shape.

Looks like I'm gonna have to juuuuuuuump poooooooost...

Hey! ScriptWriterGuy! Are you asking for A CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLENGE!!

Okay, Stinko-Vader, that was uncalled for. Challenging the Creator Curator of LBP Negative Zone is a bad idea... Especially since I have the "Electricity" hazard icon selected :D [/badlittlebigplanetjoke]

Back on topic... Has Marzipan's father ever been seen on H*R?

Sure he has! He's even a main charecter... if you still count the KOT as Marzipan's dad, that is.

They do mention (though not show) Marzi's parents in A Death-Defying Decemberween.

Yeah, I watched A Death-Defying Decemberween. Weird that Marzipan's parents didn't notice that Homestar has no arms... That, and the first time Strong Bad actually said something GOOD about Homestar:
:sb: I gotta give Homestar credit. Using ridiculously elaborate schemes involving bone-curdling injuries to avoid spending time with family is the kind of Decemberween tradition I can get behind. Now work me over with this two-by-four before we have to go to Great Gamaw's again.

That is, if you don't count a certain line from More Fan Costumes...
:sb: Ha-a, dar dar dar dar DA-A!! So confused... what to think?? Hot Homestar?!? My brain is splitting in half!

Amazing how far off-topic this got. Ah, well.
I wonder what would happen if Dangeresque's office was on top of the Steep Deep, and he had to juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuump... Would he land unharmed, like Homestar?

With this being Roomisode 1 and all, does that mean there will more likely than not be future Roomisodes at a later date?

I think it was meant to be Videlectrix's way of getting back at Telltale for the whole SBCG4AP thing. Maybe they might release more Roomisodes, or maybe it was a throwaway gag by TBC for the whole Videlectrix v. Telltale thing. I would like more Roomisodes, but I bet Dangeresque can't go back there, after what The Chief did. Besides, Roomisodes get old a lot faster than SBCG4AP episodes.

lol = VERY YES

Don't you always wish that, when you screw up big time in any game (like you get rocket-launcher'd five feet from a SpawnLocation, or you use up the last part of a Double-Life Checkpoint by miscalculating jump height and falling into Horrible Gas or being Impact Explosive'd), the "Or did I...?" screen would pop up and you'd be back to right before you were Rocket Launcher'd or blown up. Too bad it's impossible to make time rewind in Roblox, and Sackpeople can only control time in Create Mode.
(For the latter hypothetical situation, maybe that's why one of the new updates to the game by Media Molecule is an Infinite-Life Checkpoint :D)

Dangeresque Roomisode 1 has to be my most favorite game from the website. I hope there will be more episodes pretty soon.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU TO DO? To make good graphics. That's just what they did here! Good graphics, gameplay and storyline.

Maybe [they'll] make another Roomisode!

This is probably my absolute favorite H*R game, including the full adventure games of Strong Bad's on Wii and PC. This one is just so charming and lovingly crafted, plus it reminds me of my old adventure gaming days. I couldn't wait for the second Roomisode, but it looks like that's not going to happen now. *cries*
