Post subject:  Episode 1 or 3?
OK, so I got some Wii point cards for my birthday, and I got episodes 2, 4, and 5, but I only have 1000 Wii Points left, so should I get Homestar Ruiner (episode 1) or Baddest of the Bands (episode 3)? WHICH ONE?

If you got 4 and 5, you got the best of the bunch in my opinion. But, I would go with 3.

I'd go with Homestar Ruiner. I can't really say why, but I really enjoyed that episode. More so than Baddest of the Bands. Either way, though, you're not really going to go wrong no matter which episode you buy. They're both good.

I say Homestar Ruiner. It's my favorite because the premise is so simple. There's no epic story, no movies, no saving the world.

Just Strong Bad doing what he does best-- ruin people's lives for funzies.

Just Strong Bad being completely unable to put together the blatant clues.
  • Some email asks you to beat up Homestar
  • Homestar is sitting right there in your house
  • Homestar is completely defenseless
...and all you choose to do is yell at him. Is it a mystery why people asked if Strong Bad was losing his edge? On the bright side, there's a catchy theme song and a minigame about killing the Teen Girl Squad. If I'm talking to someone who's already familiar with Homestar Runner, I like to bring that game up.

In retrospect, I'll have to say that "Homestar Ruiner" is more fun, but "Baddest of the Bands" at least has...the 2nd hardest Fun Machine game, some mediocre-to-forgettable songs, and rediculously impossible side-quests. Not to mention Bubs knitting with his feet, The Cheat wearing a bikini, and bleached bats closing Marzipan's door with their not-large-enough hands and not-visible mouths. Why did I think "Baddest of the Bands" had better writing again? Because Strong Bad wasn't very nice? Come to think of it, why didn't he ever perform? Too late to change any votes now.

id say episode 3 beacause you can complete episode 1 in about 25 minuites...

or atleast I did
