Homestar Runner Wiki Forum

I'm not sure if anyone still remembers, but "Homestar Ruiner" was the only SBCG4AP episode rated T for Teen. The other four were rated E10+. Did "Homestar Ruiner" deserve a higher rating than the others? I don't remember it being the most risque game.

It's rated T? Really? I didn't notice.

I don't see how it's any more risque than the rest of episodes, frankly. I mean, I know that Homestar's naked for a small portion of it, but it's pixelated and pretty darn harmless.

Other than that, I can't see anything in Homestar Ruiner that would be offensive.

I just figured out that the scene were Strong Bad frames Pom Pom of steroid abuse might have caused the higher rating.

I didn't expect it, but once playing the game I did understand just why. The major turning point in the game is Homestar Runner streaking, leading to him having a criminal record. While most series handle streaking as just something terribly embarrassing but otherwise minor, the game treated it like a crime, bringing focus to it.

Supposed steroid abuse probably didn't help, either.

I don't know if I'd never let it near a 10 year old-- I, personally, wasn't offended. But I can see how parents would want to be aware of that content on the chance that they are.

Personally, I think the only reason Homestar Ruiner is rated T is because we see
naked Homestar at one point.
