.. Wow. Where is everybody? What time is it in America? |D;

I think I'm getting the hang of point-and-click games, I actually managed to get the solutions, definitely still took me some time to think of them though. Also I loved the music! It had a great feel to it, sort of murky and subdued but still really catchy.
And that 'game over' scene was freaking awesome.

Hopefully The Vid'll release another ep :)

Heh, it's almost 3:00 AM for me now in America. I don't always sleep when I should...

But yeah, I started playing the game shortly after I noticed it was up and I'm at 185 points out of 170 and got three different Game Over endings.

This was pretty fun. I especially liked Strong Sad's cameo and the conversations with the boss.

Found a wierd glitch - when I put the Stamp on the window then take it off it is in my inventory but still on the window.

Anyways, I just completed it. Fantastic game, and In my opinion one of the best Videlectrix games. I just wish it had voice acting, though that would be distinctly un-videlectrix.
I totally hope there's another 'Roomisode' of this.

I went to jail, and jumped out the window. What's the 3rd ending? I know that when I went to jail, I didn't do something right; the case file got all stained, and I got hauled off. Don't know what I did.

And yeah, I was up at 3 this morning playing it too. Quite good, quite good.

That was great! Either I've played too many of these "get out of the room" sort of games or this is a bit too simple. 5/5 (needs more poll)

Yes, it's fun.
Did you try "use whoozit on blinds" yet? And then use camera on blinds? It made me laugh. Or talking to yourself twice or talking to the door three times, that was also good.
Everyone who got a different game over then the one in prison, please tell me how to get it!

There are two other game overs (other than just failing the stamp mini-game).
*Talk to the door three times.
*Try to use the door three times.

So, a total of 4 endings.

This game was EXCELLENT! I loved it! haha. Although the first time I played it I solved the case but there was a glitch that wouldn't let me get the case file even though it was solved so I had to start the game over. *shrug*

Oh and I'm pretty sure the chief is Marzipan haha.

That was pretty sweet. Wish I could get a non-JPEG'd version of that background; I might be able to make an EXE version of this game in Adventure Game Studio (like I'd been meaning to for Peasant's Quest).

This was pretty awesome.

Worth noting that the game is mostly a parody of Sierra's adventure games.

All of my endings I went to jail, but I did different things to get there. I couldn't win because I put the puke in last. So I went to bed. I'll play it again soon to get everything.

I failed by talking to the door multiple times, by using the door multiple times, and by putting the chinese food in the case file, which made it all sticky.

Felt more like an old LucasArts adventure game, what with the animation and music style (the guys from Telltale used to work at LucasArts, if I remember correctly, so perhaps a slight ribbing is involved?), whereas Peasant's Quest was more along Sierra's line, but regardless, a fun diversion!

All I can say is that Jonathan Howe is back, so there's no excuse not to release level 10 of Stinkoman 20X6.

"Nobody do anything Dangeresque!"
Real thrilling and made me jump from my seat at that point!

I have a problem, though...I can't beat it. Anyone have a simple walkthrough you could post on the forums for the people like me who can't get out of the office... :eekdance:

I got up to 35 points before I looked at the walkthrough; I'm terrible at these games! But I have to say, I loved this one! The music is great, and the little animations made me laugh (like Strong Bad spinning on the chair, Pom-pom's kung-fu attack, and Strong Sad watching tv). I really enjoyed this game and I hope there are more "roomisodes" soon.

Yup Daniel, there is a walkthrough on the wiki and it can be found here: http://hrwiki.org/index.php/Dangeresque ... alkthrough :)

Oh, and... how cool was that bumpy-glass effect in the end scene! :O Those guys at Videlectrix are really getting fancy. I bet those ancient Apple IIs of theirs were overheating like crazy when they were making this. :p

It's Sam & Max Hit the Road! One of my favorite point-and-click adventure games!

MY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Get coffee
Drink coffee
Open drawer
Get stamp
Use chair
Read card
Hire Pom-Pom
Get takeout
Eat takeout

Then I tried to leave and "Why hello there giant SWAT team."

Awexome! I actually managed to undo the take-out and ink the stamp without using the walkthough! Trust me, that's talent compared to my Pesant's Quest record.

And the Dragon Take-Out comes in the niiiiiiiiight!! (They're open late)/ 5

I thought it was quite good 4/5. for some reason it took me a long time to figure out the unsolved to solved stamp thing (sometimes the simpelist answers are the hardest to figure out). though id say the graphics of this game are a distinct upgrade from the usuall videlectrix fare. SNES as compared to NES.

I finished it, partially using the walkthrough. It was too short, and too much like Sam & Max HTR. It was also a bit boring. No one to really interact with. The fact that it takes place only in one room also hurt it.

3/5

That was a cute little homage to Sam & Max Hit the Road. I wish it had been longer ^.^ I liked making him eat expired food & talk to inanimate objects.

So did I. Also, look at the coffee first to discover just how gross that one is! ;)
I like games allowing you some weird actions, so when I tried to use the chinese stuff on him the first time, I was hoping they would have built in a funny reaction to that command, but when he really ate it, I just couldn't stop laughing.

Indeed. Poll is make add now, for voting your requirements.

I got most of the puzzles pretty quickly... guess I've been playing adventure games too much recently (what with SBCG4AP, the new Sam & Maxes, Hit the Road which I got my hands on recently...). By which I mean that there's no such thing as playing adventure games too much.

Awesome. It's amazing how they always perfectly nail the atmosphere of a game from any era.
It was great to see Dangeresque working with Renaldo for a change (as he always does)

BTW, anybody else got a feeling that the SWAT guy had to be played by the Poopsmith?
