First toon you saw

Back in January 2003, a fellow web friend commented on using "the telegramophone whilst wearing gentleman's sport gloves."

Totally uninitiated then, I asked him if that comment was for a cultural reference that had slipped below my radar.

He said yes. And he clued me into StrongBad E-mail #50: 50 emails. (and the apropos Easter egg.)

After checking it out, (and seeing the very first Toon toon, A Jorb Well Done) I sat down and checked out all them Strong Bad E-Mails, up to japanese cartoon.

Then I sat back after all 57 then and muttered, "I can't believe I sat and watched the whole thing." (On dial-up back then, too.)

Wow. You have a much longer attention span than I do. I usually have a span of 5-6 minutes. *stares blankly into space, then walks out of room*

DNA Evidence. I discovered H*R in 2008. I have over 160 sbemails watched, all the shorts, and most of the big toons. I haven't started Holiday or Puppet Stuff, but I have watched all the character videos, Powered by the Cheat, and Teen Girl Squads. I have played all the games, and haven't bought anything from the store. Just to keep you updated.

My first toon actually was the King Of Town toon, back when The Reddest Radish was the newest update! I stumbled over the site while looking for cartoons on the internet.
It would not be an overstatement to say that I have grown up with Homestar :mrgreen:

Teen Girl Squad in 2003. My older sister got an msn message with a link to the site, and that's the first one we watched. Then we did Strong Libs and played Bronco Trolleys. However, it wasn't until a friend suggested that I watch Dragon and Japanese Cartoon that I was hooked.

I guess it would be the "first time here?" toon, then a Jorb well done at my friend's house. After that I was hooked. I went home and watched every single toon on the site over the course of a week.

I think mine was the sbemail 'shapeshifting'. I hadn't heard of many characters, but I knew some. I knew Strong Bad and Homestar, but barely. So when I saw Coach Z, I was like "Who's this chump with the wierd voice??"

The current Intro song, then the King of Town DVD. I proceeded to watch every Big Toon up to DNA Evidence (the newest at the time), then every Short up to Coach Z's 110% (also the newest at the time) - then I went through every other toon on the site!
