Meh, not funny. When are TBC going to realize that it's not just Strong Bad's opinion? The KOT and the Poopsmith are genuinely NOT FUNNY.

Exactly right. Funny as a parody, and interesting in just how weird it is. Doesn't have you laughing as you watch it, as much as thinking...what the--

And sometimes, you need a little extra "what the..." in your day. It doesn't always have to be "ha-ha" funny.

When are you going to realize that maybe that's just your opinion? I thought this toon was very funny.

This was mediocre at best. I laughed at "Somebody get the door! I'll get it!" The KOT's so lonely :( :kot:

and the Poopsmith pausing for a few seconds when the KOT suggests wearing a baseball cap and putting deodorant outside his shirt (but wait, the Poopsmith doesn't wear a shirt!)

So yeah I thought this was good, not that I want this to be a regular thing on the site :P

7/10

Not really the best, but not really the worst either. The instant deathing of the dragon (instead of the sanitizing) was pretty funny.

Actually I thought this one was pretty good, in a stupidly cute sort of way. It reminded me very much of the earliest H*R toons where the stories were a little more child-like and far-out than they are now. I sincerly doubt that this will be a regular feature on the site, but it's always nice to see them touch back on their roots every once in a while.

I wasn't really too wild about the new voices, but I think my favorite part was the Poopsmith trying to kiss his flowers only to have them die on him.

It sure was ... different. Not the funniest toon on the site. The only part that made me laugh out loud was "If you can't beat make the poopsmith smell good, then join ... beat make the poopsmith smell good", but it was a fresh change of pace, so I give it 3/5 :kot:

Heh, looks like TBC wanted to try a new animation style. I dig it. The bishop's voice was great (and it sounds like Mike is getting to experiment with voices outside of Cheat cartoons). Also, the King of Town's medieval castle is a great backdrop for new stories to develop. I only wish they would take a break from the poopsmith gags. Its really just the same jokes. All The King's Men are characters who deserve the spotlight more.

I thought it was all in all pretty funny. The new voices were kind of werid though, seemed strangely similar.

I don't know, this cartoon was pretty crappy to me. I mean, they're not starting out anymore.

I liked it myself.. it reminds me of those children's books which were also the inspiration for Where My Hat Is At?. The Multi-Function Dragon was a pretty absurd concept, and I certainly didn't expect the cloud of perfume to have a crisis...

Did the spear hitting the instant death scale under the dragon's forearm make anyone else think of Smaug's weak spot?

Instead of marrying the Poopsmith to the roses, they should have tried marrying him to his odor. They wouldn't have stayed together for much longer.

well, props to the Bros. Chaps for experimenting with a new art style. it makes for a nice change of pace.
on the other hand, I was disappointed that virtually all attempts at comedy consisted of sophomoric gross-out humor. not that I was offended or grossed out--but the sad fact is, it just didn't strike me as funny. the king's exchange with himself "Somebody get the door! I'll get it!" looked promising to me, but the toon failed to really deliver on the premise. I do hope they try another KOT's VOQPCS sometime in the future, because I think it's got more potential than this.

He also does sound a tiny bit like Rumble Red (4 Branches & D'ween Short Shorts), doesn't he?

I have to say that this really rubbed me the wrong way. It could be the fact that I just don't like the KOT very much or maybe that it really wasn't that funny? It was a weird idea to randomly come back too and I can't say I really like this weird cartoon style. Nothing made me laugh out loud...have to say the jingle is catchy buuut made up cartoons in a cartoon universe has been done too many times in the hr universe for me to like (I liked teen girl squad...sweet cuppin cakes was alright...then we've got li'l brudda and all though that's probably in the wrong order).

I guess it was nice to bring the king of town back and show that he's alive and well but umm...I didn't really care about the fact that he was missing because I just DON'T LIKE HIM!

I hate the KOT but this was just funny.

Also, StrongSadSympathizer. What do you mean he hasn't been it a toon lately?

He was in The email:The Movies as 'The guy who brings his own food to the theater'

I was gonna bring that up today. I noticed it myself. Very weird...

Now The Poopsmith reminds me of Foul Ole Ron from the Discworld books. Foul Ole Ron's smell had its own personality.

Riiiiight. They're funy, if not to you then to someone else. Especially people who're immature like me! The "don't forget to forget to wash your hands" was pretty funny, and the voice of the knight was pretty funny.

Okay, okay okay. to some, they are funny. To me, they fail very often to be funny. But that is just my opinion. I'm sorry.

I generally enjoyed the toon. The new cartoony-style is an amusing, and it was nice to see :kot: and his men used as solid characters instead of fillers this time around. The multi-purpose dragon was an interesting idea, and I hope it appears again despite the "Instant death".

Now that I think about it, it IS very Smaug-esque, but I haven't watched the movie version of the Hobbit in ages... and I never did finish the book.
