I don't know. What did you see? This is a thread about bathtubs being able to be locked. I know it because I started this thread. Are you talking about the new Decemberween toon because that helps the running gag. But now I know how it works, sort of. Umm... do you think the Brothers Chaps saw this thread? Because my question got answered. But here's a question: How did they nail wood to a bathtub? Well I guess they stapled a flyer to stone. Okay, I'm just gonna go with "Homestar Runner dot com is a weird place where ABSOLUTELY NOTHING makes sense!"

TOTPD! :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance:

Acually the wood was held in place by chains wraped around it. They were probably locked on the side we could not see.

Ahhh... more evidnce that the Chapman Brothers are keeping an eye on both our Wiki and our forum... although, just as easily not. I'm sure many othe forums might've raised this question...

There are no nails, no locks, only chains and boards... and as you can see, some of the boards aren't even chained up. Strong Sad could get out of there easily.

Any carpenter could tell you that the boards could just as easily be nailed on the other side, and the locks could also easily be located out of view.

What do you think they've been talking about in this thread for the past two days? STOP WITH THE SPAM.

Well, I guess this can be locked now that we know how Strong Sad gets locked in the bathtub.

There's no reason to lock a thread unless it's spam. We can still talk about this.

Maybe I'm being a little TOO generous but I think Sean deserves at least a 4  and 1 :cheat: award. Because it was he who said that they wrapped the bathtub in chains, he also said a huge padlock, there's no proof there is but no proof there isn't. (Because you did this to Upsilon, I can say I did not assume you were a guy Sean. You should know because I remembered who you told not to assume you were a guy even though you are)

And in my last post, that was when I was being oblignorant (my addition to Senor Cardgage's vocabulary) and I am not anymore.

Cyrax, you're thinking of the bathroom. You can lock the bathroom door, but Strong Sad is being locked in the bathTUB. And it's seen how in the newest Decemberween toon.

I think you're missing one key point: Strong Sad is as weak as a chicken!

And there might be chains on the other side of the tub. The boards might also be connected some how, we don't know.

My problem with it is that Strong Sad says he's ALWAYS locked up for Decemberween, which means he was locked up as a child. Isn't that really despressing  ? Actually, I have a weird theory about it, but I'm saving it for this fanfic. Let's just say it's for everyone's good that he's locked up.

Eh maybe like Halloween, Strong Sad saddens the rest of the place up..?

Gotta remember, Strong Sad with a spear would get beat by The Cheat with no arms blindfolded! Weak as a chicken, yeah. As with the chains I imagine it's hard to either wrap the chains around like that or just weld them- probably indeed a padlock in the back that we didn't see. Strong Bad wondered who let Strong Sad out anyway so it ought to be easily removable too. Even if Strong Sad managed to get the end planks off he'd still be too chubby to squeeze out anyway.

I'm-a gonna guess you weren't referring to the bantam chicken. My dad actually identified Strong Bad with a bantam chicken; very little, but very tough.

Anyway Strong Sad IS NOT as weak as a chicken. The poultry would win a fight no contest.

Fine, Strong Sad is weaker than a chicken. Happy?

Yes actually I am. I wasn't however, trying to make you seem like you wrote something wrong or anything. It's just when I find oppurtunity to be Sage of something, I will. Oh, and also, I remember AGES and AGES ago some guy said "Wait, how can he fit in a bathtub?" WELL, he fit in a GRILL, didn't he? Grills are smaller than bathtubs.

Well how about hardwood floor? You seen those things? Each piece has a little flange on one side and a slot in the other so they fit. You put a few boards side to side and they somewhat stick with a weak bond, it's hard to separate them by pushing on the side- you haev to pull them apart from the ends.

But Strongbad put wooden boards over the top of the bathtub then chained it shut, and locked it.
