Now we've definitely got our favorite website back.

I think "refreshing" is the best word to describe this. Sure, it's a little repetitive how they keep experimenting with Homestar's potential to be funny, but that's okay, because Homestar is so very undeniably funny.

They also managed to squeezle SB, TC, and SS in there without letting them steal the spotlight. That's pretty impressive.

And I think this is the only series in the world that could actually resist explaining how it happened.

5/5. I'm speechless beyond that.

It was pretty good. I kinda wanted a reason for Homestar floating on a sheet of ice but it was still really awesome. I give it a four. Almost five.

I didn't like it one bit. I dunno, I guess when I saw the "new short" button, I got excited, but I didn't like it as much as the regular cartoons. It is officially my least fave cartoon on the site. Better than any other webtoons i've ever seen, though. Just bad for :hr: .

That was a prooty cool easter egg, though. :sb: :bubs: :cheat:

Awesome! Just- Awesome!

Wonderful. Truely one of TBC's better work. :hr: in the middle of the artic of the Artic Ocean for no reason. Super random. And to me, random is funny.

I told my friend about it & he cracked up. He said Homestar is very stupid. "You've poked me for the last time, satilite phone! You too, flare gun!" <-Classic :-D

Was I the only one to laugh my head off when homestar did the "one leg shorter than the other" thing. That, and the "You've poked me for the last time satilite phone, you too flare gun' were my favorite parts

This toon seemed a bit forced. It was funny, but in a way that made me groan. I gave it a 3/5 for effort.

I didn't think it was that great. It was all just a bit too much non-explaining. Drive-thru was executed in a different basis of non-explanation. I can't really explain it. I smiled a few times, such as when Homestar dropped his phone and flare into the water, but I didn't laugh out loud like what I was expecting considering the greatness that was last week. But I'm always happy for more Homestar. The animation seemed weirdly shiny for some reason.

2/5

Maybe I'll give it another runthrough later.

um, this wasen't a hremail...

That's what I said. Hremails are more willing to share the spotlight with other toons and shorts than sbemails.

I don't see the relevance between this toon and what you're talking about, because it's up to TBC to decide what cartoons they want to make. If they want to make a string of sbemails, and not other toons, that's their call.

It made absolutely no sense. A few funny parts (esp. :sb: :cheat: and :hr: ), but not much going for it. 2/5

I'm gonna up it to 3/5. It was still weird, but really funny nonetheless. It's the confusion that hurts it.

Not too sure about it, but I feel like this was pretty funny, especially the Easter Egg.

The "It doesn't touch!" joke is the most simplistically brilliant thing I've ever heard. I love you, TBC! <3

All-around a cute and clever toon, in my opinion.

I asked myself the same thing. Only explaination I could come up with was this:

[TBC discussing their plans for the short]
Mike: ...and then let's make Bubs the vet, that would be funny.
Matt: But some of our fans are stupid, they'll never get it.
Mike: That's okay, we'll just write it on a nice big sign.

I enjoyed it, but while it may be the best caper ever, I don't think it's the best toon ever. I gave it 3/5.

Agreed. I think that's inevitable when you are trying to make a weekly cartoon, sometimes you're going to just have to force yourself to do stuff even if it's not the funniest. Still, nice to see a new setting, and I enjoyed scenes like Strongbad and The Cheat laying on the carpet trying to figure out how it happened. And "I'm takin' you to the vet" got a chuckle out of me.

Oh, yeah, and I liked the little bubs medical vet symbol thingy enough that I made it my avatar.

I literally laughed out loud for a second when Bubs said, "I'm not lookin' at The Cheat!"

And did anyone else notice that the last six notes played at the end are the same six played at the end of Play Date?

I'm guessing that the "Bubs a vet" joke is that it sounds like Boba Fett.

Well, so far there has been only 2 hremails. I think it's a bit premature to say that. Mabey after 20 hremails, you can look to see how many other toons there have been for a more complete picture.

Abso-freakin-lutely possible! You could maybe have the lines mixed up as to who said what, but that could totally be the reason for that.

Aww, poor embarrassed The Cheat. But that is definitely the best SB line I've heard since the end of A Death-Defying Decemberween. ripberger is right: H*R is back and funnier than ever! NOW IF THEY WOULD JUST ADD FREAKING LEVEL TEN TO STINKOMAN 20X6 SINCE THEY'RE DONE WITH SBCG4AP!!! Sorry, don't know how THAT got in this discussion.
So who has a guess as to what they'll do for next week? Hremail, another toon, sbemail 201, or something else?
...
Aw cwap, I forgot to check the Weeklies yesterday because of that five-paragraph homework I got in Japanese class. *new-window'd H*R main page* Awwwwww... Li'l Brudder in TF2.

My (lame attempt at a) guess:

:cheat: whizzed in :hr:'s melonade so it would knock him out when he drank it. Then :sb: and :cheat: carried him over to the nearest ice shelf and set him adrift, so that :sb: could take back his email spotlight!

We'll just see what next week has in store for us...

This is one of those toons where many quotes can be pulled out of, without anyone thinking they're from the same short! 5/5!

I appreciate the homage to A Jumping Jack Contest and I loved the Easter Egg, but this one was a little too surreal for me. What's the fun in seeing Homestar on the other side of the world if we don't know why he is there?

One of the best toons I've seen for quite a while. Not saying those previous were bad, this one was just that good.
6/6.

That was totally random.
And I found it hilarious, somehow.
What I really can't beleive is the cartoon's timing...!
