Yes,

I learned a valuable lesson today about trusting the Brother's schedule. I should have never asked the original question. I realize only now that I shouldn't put too much pressure on funny.

I promise I'll try to never, never do it again.

I mean it.

I know that I said that I learned my lesson, but as of Monday morning at 11:00 AM, I am jonesin' for some Homestar.

I don't want to put any undo pressure on those wonderful brothers, but...

Hold on, let me check if they have done anything yet.

..Ok, I'm back. Nothing yet. Maybe now...?

Nope. I guess I'll go outside or something.

No updates Homestar on Mondays... It would be a catastrophe for me, for I shall have to search all over the site, hoping they DID put some sort of petty toon or whatever, that they forgot to mention on the main page. For I, it would be a cataclysmic event. They day won't be the same like every Monday is when there are updates. The state of nostalgia runs all over my body, and my mind shall have to cooperate with melancholy. When there is no Homestar, I must go to my significant other, just so she can helpfuly reconcile my depression. Who's to blame? Certainly not the Chaps. I am not mad at them, nor am I devolping an animadversion on them. I understand that they are busy individuals and I respect their hard (which is yet fun) work that is filled with sublimity. But I still await for the updates... EVERY DAY.

I don't get upset. I just casually wait 'till tommorow. I always have a pretty good idea of what kind of Holidays are coming, so usually I don't check the calender.

It makes me feel like it's still Sunday, except I had to go to work, which made it feel like a Monday. I mean...a Wednesday.

Nevermind.

It makes me feel like I waite all week for something to cheer up my otherwise dark and dreary existence, and instead just got punched in the face... twice.

How do I feel when H*R doesn't update? The following phrase pretty much sums it up:

%@*#^$%&^!$!$%^%$%?@*$^@@&^!%!$~*$@#$*#&$#*@@&*$#^$@!@!%~!$~!*&@#_*$#@+@#@!^% !!!

Any questions?

I hate it when they don't update on Mondays! I also hate the fact that I usually get up early over the summer. They don't update until 12:00 PM, so I have to wait. When they don't update on Mondays, I get this mad:
:sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm: :sm:

If there's no Monday update, to me it just means that we're either going to get something later in the week or they're working on something BIG and SECRET that's going to be worth the wait.

Did anyone go and get pictures?!??

You know what I find amusing? How much conversations about TBC tend to start sounding like those conversations about God. "He must have his reasons, y'know, and it's not for us to question. Whatever he does is okay; just think of all the guy's got to do!"

Two disclaimers: Seriously, I will not hear ill spoken of TBC; it's not like they have to do HR, like they signed a contract guaranteeing one at 12:00 am every monday; they just do it when they do it and as long as it keeps the movement rolling it works for them and it works for us.

Second: I actually do believe that everything God does is right even if we don't understand it. But please don't get this thread moved to the religion section; there's enough of that conversation going on there already.

It makes me feel like my lower intestine was brutally ripped out of my gut, twisted around, spewing fluid and gunk all over, and then slingshotted TO THE MOOOOOON!!

Ok, not really. I'm a bit disappointed, but there's nothing I can do about it, so I just wait until tomarrow.

I currently feel like my toes are on fire. Like I ran into a stiletto heel. Like they cancelled Arbor Day. Like they broke my crystal ball. Like they discontinued Hershey's kisses. Like the devil stole my optimism. Like the boat is slowly leaving the dock, and here I am with my bags all packed. Like a cold stiff wind. Like a boil. Like time has stopped at 10 AM Tuesday.

Woa. I usually feel kinda sad, like... "Oh...well, that's too bad. Hopefully there will be one later, or tomorrow." Then watch an old toon or something. Dissapointing, but...not to the extent that it is for you guys, as cute as it is.

This time, I didn't feel bad at all since, you know, they were probably busy doing that whole G4 Interview thing
