Cute!!! And I love Homestar thinking he has arms. He may have pulled another "Long Pants" telekenetic breakdown after Strong Mad's tactlessness. "YOU DON'T HAVE AA-" A wonderful job.

:trogdor: is a bad guy!

That was funny. It looks like they did it in Flash, cus the animation is all smooth and stuff, but I could just be revealing my crappy MarioPaint skills..

They even had teh StrongMad! YAY!

Yeah, I know, I say that everytime they use Strong Mad, but the "YAY!" still stands.

Meh, it was ok. It was cool that they did some other stuff, but didn;t make my Monday. I didn't even notice that Homestar didn't have arms, yet he said he wasd going to get a tatoo on them, until Strong Mad pointed it out.. er.. yelled it out.

This was hilarious. Very nice. It's good to see a change of pace.

Just wait, in three days, there will be 4 new accounts here. Named "Glowy Box", "Bad Guy", "The F'real deal", and "Cakeman"

Four words: That. Was. Amazing.

Okay, three words. I never was that good at counting anyway.

It's astounding watching this and the old Mario Paint video one after the other.
The animation is WAY better now.

Waah! I want Mario Paint!

Naw, I think he was bashing Nintendo, which isn't very nice, because Nintendo's pretty good.
Anyway-dang-ways, this may be off topic, but if Mario Paint is made for drawing, how did they manage to do so much animation?

Writing things that stay in your head is a quality of a good songwriter.
They ARE some good songwriters.. I keep waiting on Strongbadia the Musical... 7 years from now, it'll kick RENT out of the Nederlander..

Okay, I know what Mario Paint is now. ^^
I think that that would have been hard to make on Mario Paint. TBC has.. dare I say it?
'1337' skills with animation. They deserve to have it their job.

To me, that "Strong Bad's got the master plan" lyric reminded me of the lyrics to E.G.G.M.A.N. .

Wow. I had no idea you could do that with Mario Paint. All I ever did was color a few predrawn images and play the bug swatting game.

The thing with Homestar's arms had me    .

For some reason, the sound was all weird when I was watching it. Did any of you guys have this problem?

Wonder if they actually did this one in an Emulator, I think the last one they basically like video taped it or something. This time it looks more like they used an SNES emulator and somehow scammed it to get the mouse to work, so they could be a bit more precise and then put it into Flash so they could set up the timing.

Just my theory of course. Since I think the Mario Paint vids could only be a few seconds in length.

I'm guessing emulator this time around. I seriously doubt they did this on the TV.

The above comment sounds very true.

Plus the animation would doubtlessly be not as complex on the SNES.

I reckon they drawn individual pics, then strung up in Macromedia, which would allow them more creative freedom.

I must say, a very style to this one. Like it a lot. :D

Eh. I personally think this was done the same way the other one was done except finalized in flash and with a more high quality transfer device.

From the Super NES HRWiki:

Quote:
The music that accompanies this toon could not possibly have been made using Mario Paint, which has a fixed note length and can only play notes in the C-major scale. Furthermore, Mario Paint only lets you do nine frames consecutively, indicating that this animation would have had to be recorded to an external source over and over again to achieve the many effects present.
