Just my opinion. I'm doubtful about it, though.

I'm pretty sure the music's been used somewhere on the site before, though I have no idea where. It sounds really familiar though.

Eh. What do I know?

Happy Tenth Birthday, Homestar!

That was so awesome, a 10th Anniversary edition of "The Homestar Runner Enters the Strongest Man in the World Contest". Seeing "the guys we don't see much anymore" were awesome, though I thought Senor Havin' A Little Trouble and Mr. Bland got squished by a falling Bubs' Concession Stand... (Not really. I mean, like SB would even be ABLE to tell the truth with that "doodle memory" of his)

Anydangway, that was fun on all counts. So how about them DVD editions of Marshmallow's Last Stand and A Jumping Jack Contest? :p

Man, this... was... great. It's cool to see Homestar's new character in this old plot, and it's cool to see stylized versions of the old characters. Mr. Bland's voice was rather amusing, and the plug in the middle of nowhere was hilarious! The most awesome part, however, was Homestar hackysacking The Cheat, classic.

I give this a well deserved 10/10.

Rock on, Brothers Chaps, rock on.

No kidding. I loved it.

The original book was entirely plot-based, while the cartoons are entirely character-based. It was intersting to see them meld the two.

Me gotta see that again!

some things I loved:
*the voices of all those characters we'd never heard before
*Mr. Bland Getting SBLOUNSKCHED!
*Homestar pwning the cheat
*The golbol
*The Grape Fairy's voice
*Pretty much everything else
*those awesome intros for the other characters
*The announcer's new look
*"These grapes are succulently crushing my windpipe! Ooh but they're seedless!"
*"Come on Pom pom, gimme the golbol! Okay, fine, you can give it to me for my birthday"

TDM

Totally Ditto Man!!!

This was such a great toon! I think it's my new favorite!! 10/10!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOMESTAR!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

That was very very muchly much awesome. I've always wanted a Marshmallow's Last Stand remake, but I guess this will have to do for now.

It's worth it. That rocked, expecially all the old characters and The Cheat's beating.

Amen to that Ramrod. IT feels like a really big party. X3 Atleast I was watching H*R when the anniversary happened! I feel so special. XD I give the new toon a 9.5/10 for pure awesomeness. X3

This is only the best thing I've ever seen. Mr. Bland might be my new favorite character. THE PRINCE OF PLAIN, THE MASTER OF MUNDANE...! Uh, anyway, I love The Cheat, but he got PWNED. This has got to be the best anything on the site in a WHILE.

This was the first toon in a while to make me Roffle out-loud, that random plug and The Grape Fairy made my crack up!

This. Was. Hilarious.

Wow, that was funny.

Favorite things:

•Homestar forgetting what the name of the contest was
•Mr. Bland: "This is going rather well." SQUISHED.
•The Grape Fairie
•HEY!!! wait. HEY!!!! wait. HEY!!!!!
•The voice of Señor. "I'm havin' a leetle' trubollllllll!"
•Homestar being a complete jerk at the end in contrast with how noble he seemed at the end of the book.
•Seeing the Anouncer again! YAY! Yeah, whatever.
•Yeah, that's pretty much it. Grood! I'da give it an 8 or maybe even a 9 outta ten.

Bill & Ted said it best: "Most excellent, dudes!"

Seriously. Win and awesome. Hacky sacking The Cheat = awesome, but Mr. Bland and Senor with voices is pretty cool too.

I can't say anything that hasn't been said, but I can have spasms of fangirlish joy. XD

Wow, that was actually really good. I was afraid TBC had forgotten completely about the the big 1-0, but I am once again mistaken. My favorite part was Homestar's Cheat hackey sack slomo kick. The grape fairy being some incomprehensible cab-driveresque creepy dude was a nice twist. Totally unexpected.

The voice work was great, especially. Mr. Bland was perfect. And Senor Havin' A Little Trouble! "I steel alive!" Fantastic!

The whole modern take on the old story was a riot. The characters are so much more developed now, they took advantage of that and presented a really well-fleshed-out retelling. I hope we see more strong stories coupled with the strong characters - that really, really works.

Ever since I was introduced to the site and read the original story, I wanted the old Chaps to make it into a toon.

And now, three years later, they have. My life is complete. For now.

Dang, that was really good. Even ignoring the whole "remake bonus points", that is a solid stand alone toon.

Happy 10 years to Free Country, USA!
Homestar absolutely embarrassed the Cheat with that kicking. It sort of reminded me of watching wrestling matches when I was little and the "good guy" would have a big comeback in the match. Anyway, that got a big laugh from me, but what was with the Easter egg displaying all those New York Mets logos?
EDIT: I missed the part where they mention Mookie Wilson. Yeah, he's the Mets player who scored on the Buckner play. Never mind.

This was one funny cartoon. Great for the tenth anniversary. Now... will Senor and Mr. Bland become regulars? I doubt it, but it may be possible.

5/5

Wow, just wow. It's everything in should have been.

Cool things: the Strong Bad autograph easter egg, sneaking vocals by Larry Palaroncini into the showdown song, the gruff Mets-fan fairy whose beard disappears when he's not talking, "I am the very strongest. While on the other hand, inversely, you guys are not very strong!" and of course the total pwnage.

"You can give it to me for my birthday..." Isn't that like right now? It's probably too far fetched that it might be a Lord of the Rings reference where Gollum takes the ring his friend gets because "it's my birthday"

Good prize out of not last place!

Hey, Senor and Mr. Bland can talk. Who knew? Awesome remake of the old classic. Here's for 10 more years. 12 even.

I bet there's still more for the 10th anniversary, as they had been planning the whole thing far in advance. However, the previous two things this month seem like they could've secretly been part of the whole 10th anniversary celebrationes. Strong Bad gets a theme song, and a Homestar-centric cartoon.

Not to say that if this was the only 10th thing I would be surprised or even saddened because it was just plain awesome. However, I am expecting more from the brothers D:

I liked it. They incorporated new elements quite nicely; granted, Strong Bad does act a bit out-of-character in some parts due to the major facelift he's had in the past decade, but I'm glad they didn't take away from his sarcastic attitude. And Pom Pom refusing to share the trophy was hilarity. ;)
