Whoa! I just realized you're PrincessOfStrongbadia! Welcome back! And delete one of those double posts. Personally, I didn't think this was so "dark".

I hope this ends up in the right place. Just saying cause I've been at message boards before, and I think I'm posting inside a topic, and end up making a new topic. Well, here goes nothing...

Although this isnt saying much i found this to be the most depressing toon on the site. The dog makes you lose your appetite and that poor parrot makes u wanna cry like homestar does. Speaking of that, i thought making him fly into the air while he cried to be wierd.

Then it's done its job. KA-DING!

DEPRESSIO * pi/10

P.S.: Not that I expect people here to be canine anatomy experts, but don't those nubs mean he was born with legs and then lost them? What would be the use fo those nubs, if there wasn't anything attached to them before? If it was a genetic defect, I would think there would be no vestigial parts at all.

I think you have to wait a certain amount of time, and a little "X" will show up next to "Quote" and "Edit".

When I looked on the Wiki at school, and saw that today's update was "The L'il Brudder Show", I thought that it was gonna be the coolest thing ever, but such was not the case. I thought it was okay, the theme song was kinda catchy, but the best part was when Homestar suddenly jumps up out of nowhere and starts crying. I give it a 5 out of 10.

First impressions:

The song was creepy and disappointing.
When it switched around to Strong Bad and The Cheat sleeping, I was scared that would be the end.
Then Homestar jumped up and I seriously laughed out loud.
All-in-all...  / :cheat: :cheat: :cheat: :cheat: :cheat:

Until I find some humor in it when I watch it again, I'm giving it a 1/10. :(

This cartoon was a bit depressing. It evoked more pity that laughter. Even so, I think that the idea wasn't that strong to begin with. Lil' Brudder was funny in the sbemail, but now he's just...not. :((

Little Brudder shouldn't have been that hairy, or western, or dentally challenged.

I did not find this cool at all. It kinda came out of left field, didn't it?

2/10. (because I go by an AP grading scale, so it gets one extra point for the content actually having to do with the subject).

'Kay, first of all, I love Marshmallow's Last Stand. Second, I don't see what was so funny about Strong Bad snoring. Third, Homestar bawling was hilarious. Fourth, anything is better than an SBEmail, which seem to be losing their touch (although Long Pants was great). Fifth, that parrot made the 'toon for me.

Well.

I didn't laugh at all throughout the whole thing, but I mostly came close to crack'n a smile on "He probably won't take a wife." Even though that's horrible. lol.

I also agree with many here that his voice is totally inapropriate. When Strong Bad did his "voice," it was funny to hear him say "Well, I can make it on my own!" But this was kinda stupid really.

I like TBC to do something different every now and again. Like with the Stinkoman game and what-not, but this one is just isn't that great or that funny. I never expected a toon out of 'lil brudder, but when I saw it on the main page I thought it would be better than that.

It might've been a BETTER update if paired with an email.

I thought it was alright. Not too bad, not too good. Felt real sorry for Lil Brudder not being able to eat at all (well it's actually possible to stand up with one leg, have to be flexible). The "darkest" part i'd say is maw being a dog and paw being a unicycle. I'll agree with you guys on the end, Homestar's bawling cracked me up. The cutest part is hearing the chort snore then go "mimimimimimi....". Was surprised on the voice but sort of indifferent on that.
You notice Strong Bad's upper eyelid show up again?

Let's trace...! Let's trace drawings!

I was pretty excited by the fact that the update was called "l'il brudder" because I loved "crying." I was a little disappointed the first time I watched the cartoon, but when I saw it again I realized how absolutely ridiculous it is. L'il brudder is just so disgusting and pathetic. It was just so strange and over the top that I found it high-larious.

Those Brothers C and thier funnybones. They got it.

it's being a little harsh when you guys are practically giving it a .5/10, I mean, it was pretty entertaining, just because it wasn't a full blown email (which I don't consider the recent ones as good as some of the older ones.. but maybe they'll get better.. I just don't like the current 'attitude' or something of the recent ones..) ... well as I said before I liked this. But then again I liked Marshmallow's last stand and it's considered the worst homestar cartoon XD

I knew as soon as I saw this cartoon that I had to come back temporarily and see just what the reaction would be, and the reaction I've seen is about what I expected.

Personally, I really liked the first half because it was not only extremely ridiculous (I mean come on, the legless parrot wobbling like a weeble? The idea of being the product of a dog and a unicycle?), it was quite a bit darker than usual for TBC. Not directly dark, perhaps, but in a very subtle way (since think about it, the show's about a one-legged dog who's down on his luck on top of having, well, that one leg and all.) I'm also not sure how everyone's saying that Lil Brudder's look was ruined with making him actually look, well, more hairy, like a real dog. He looks just fine, hole in tooth or not. And I found the voice great too, since the voice, just like the idea of the cartoon itself, is utterly ridiculous. You're expecting him to sound like a cute dog, so having him sound like some psychotic hick instead? Absolutely excellent.

In comparison, the second half of the cartoon midly irritated me. Yes, Homestar cries at Lil Brudder. Geez. I was impressed at some of the air he was getting, yes, but it came across as being very irritating instead of being funny. At least the easter egg made up for it.

Thus are my impressions of the cartoon after having watched it a few times. I'll be going now.

When I first saw they updated with a cartoon starring Lil' Brudder I nearly jumped out of my seat! I was so excited.

When I watched I thought it dang funny but it could have been better. I think they should have kept the cartoon as SB drawings ...kinda like Tean Girl Squad...but not.

Thats what I would have done anyway.

But all in all it was good. I made me laugh and thats what counts

I enjoyed it, kinda creepy, but that never distracts me from enjoying something. KInda turned Li;' brudder from a puppy into an old haggard dog though.

Its a nice diversion from the barrage of Sbemails.

I'd like to see a Poopsmith and KOT Cartoon though.

Another thing about this toon, I didn't find it very quotable just yet. Maybe I haven't exactly watched it enough, but usually after an update, I'll be quoting whatever it is until the next update at least. Most I've done is go "Lil Burdder, Lil Burdder," about three minutes ago. It might also be that I've had the songs from the musical I'm doing Damn Yankees (please don't kill me, that IS the title of the show >.>) and have been singing those all the time XD Still, it isn't very good anyway....

Hey, anyone notice the small barney reference at the beginning? Surprised nobody wrote it in the article yet :P *just did*

In other words, I loved it, so indeed, I have no idea what everyone's talking about. It was fairly humourous to see Li'l Brudder scraping along. The twenty-metre hundred-yard dash was priceless, to name one such visual.

Coudl've been better, I suppose. I, too, was rather disappointed with Li'l Brudder's voice. But hey, it's something new, which is always a plus. 7/10.

Um, how would you know it was a Barney reference? According to the article, Lil' Brudder popping out of paper is a Barney reference.

I didn't really like this. It was funny to see Homestar freaking out, but the rest of it wasn't too funny. I have to admit that the parrot falling over in the easter egg made me laugh, though.

But let's see, where to start with this...The stereotype of rednecks with bad teeth and too much body hair...(I know he's a dog, but you can clearly see it.) I didn't find the song very funny, or anything Li'l Brudder did. It was sad to see the disformed animals. I just didn't like it.

4.5/10. The only points it gets is for Homestar, Strong Bad, and The Cheat. Ok, only Homestar. The Cheat didn't do anything, and I'm sure Strong Bad's couch mumbling would be funnier if I knew what game he was...mumbling.

I thought this was kinda depressing, and a sick portrayal of the handicapped. (But I did give a slight grin when the parrot fell over, lol) And like Layla said, Homestar's "freak-out" was the saving grace to the toon.

I don't think the Brothers Chaps would make fun of rednecks, considering they are from the South.
