Haha! Sir cough a lot was funny. Or... the guy that coughs a lot. But something changed in the humor... it became creepy.

To everyone saying it's creepy...let's remember that in the canon, Strong Bad is creating the TGS strips. And this is exactly the sort of thing I'd imagine lurks in his brain.

I must respectfully disagree. I think that this is disproportionately different from what we've seen of Strong Bad's thought process. SB doesn't seem like he'd spend a lot of time thinking about cosplay, coughing up a baseball stadium, creepy raccoon things and Mary Kate Olson.

Like I said, the episode wasn't BAD. Just different. And I guess I would be a little disappointed if all of H*R took a turn toward this darker kind of humor.

Hehheh. I was laughing over this new TGS. It felt pretty long (though the other TGS's were short), and there were some parts I couldn't stop laughing at.

Death eating a hamburger
The script
So-and-So working/shoplifting/arrested
Counselor and his creepy smile/song
Maniac in a speedo
"Where my smokes at?"
The Gregs arguing
Creepy bunkmate
Fat guy coughing up a minibaseball stadium/"That's not my wife."
"Ummmmmmkay."

I'd give this a 10/10 or not last place!

Oooooh, SHOHOHOPLIFTINNG???

Where the crap did that come from?
And a tentacle'd security camera? Was Strong Bad tripping on acid or what?

You know what's odd, the ugly one and what's her face are usually the first to have misfortune but this time they didn't die until the very end

One of the best TGS's ever. It was awesome. Randomness ahoy!

I liked it too, I just thought it was funny how it was like one of those dumb camping song things.

She'll be comin' 'round the mountain when she cooooomes....... Oh, she'll be comin' 'round the mountain when she coooooomes........

Ohhhhhhh, be glad you missed it. You should've seen the uproar that Commandos in the Classroom caused...... I mean, it would be stupid, but poeple are ALWAYS saying "OMG CHAPS GETTING EDGY JUMPEH TEH SHARKZ0RZ!"

I think that's what Santo was referring to...

[mockingly] Come on though, "Where my smokes at?"? How's that not edgy? [/mockingly]

That was great! It was pretty different from the usual T33n G1rl Squ4dx0rx, but what's wrong with different? I mean, come on... do we really wanna turn into the Bonus Stage forum or something? (Everytime I went there, I had to strain to find positive comments.) 7/10, yo.

Best stuff:
"Your stepmoms is teh fascist."
"I love the mall! I wish the mall could be my ringtone."
"Here's your nametag, Mark!"
"...and it's a double play! Yaaaay!"
*Canoe Reeves*
"Ohh... Shoohohopliftinnnng????!"

"Do you love me?"

That gave me a big laugh, which is more than recent H*R material can say.

4.5/5

Looks like they're finally getting settled in again. There's been a couple times when they went through a slump and came out with a slightly altered sense of humor. Everything after the sesquicentennemail has had sped-up timing and a slightly (or more than slightly) unsettling vibe. Everything also felt really forced until now. Weclome Back was the worst example. But they can make the new sensibility work and this TGS proves it for me. If they didn't switch up the feel of the site now and then, they'd probably get bored and stop doing it.

That coughing guy... hilarious.
And some day I'm gonna get arrested running around saying "Maniac in a Speedo'd!"

Saying, but not doing of course...

I know we have a wiki

I only JUST noticed that Matt and Mike put in an actual picture of notebook paper crumpled up slightly as the background instead of just drawing it in this particular TGS. Did anyone else notice that?

I liked this one alot. I've memorized the campfire song and plan to sing it to every person I know.

Man, you gotta love how some things are worded on the wiki.

Quote:
Eventually he coughs up a stadium complete with spectators and announcer, and feels it neccessary to point out that this is not his wife.

I don't know why, but I find that wording amusing.

Oh man, that's the best thing I've seen on the site in a long time.

No one part was incredibly funny, but instead it just kept hitting you with loads of random acts of hillarity.

I think I'll go watch it again

Umm... you know maybe not everyone has read that on the wiki right? I'm asking the people in the forum if they had already noticed it. I just love it when people want to be all smart and throw that out there.

Uhhg... I'm suprised by how many people think the completely random parts of this episode were the best. Maniac in a speedo'd? Not funny. Maybe if it was, you know, RELEVANT? This episode had WAY too many good, non-random parts, as follows.

- geiger counter!
- I'm gonna miss the oak leaves...
- Now get to minimum wagin'!
- "does ugs have 1 g or 2?" "the deuce." "alright uggs..."
- A coughiversary? How romantic!
- that's not my wife.
- canoe reeves
- cosplayover camp
- SHOPLIFTING?!?
- schawing! not! who let the dogs out?
- the terrible camp song
- So and so in prison

Also, sorry, but the diabetic rat girl just wasn't funny.

You dropped this:

"in my opinion, which is not fact no matter how condescendingly I word this sentence."

I dunno, I'd say "That's not my wife" and the camp song were pretty random.

There are many random events throughout the TGS Series

Such As:
CHILDREN!
ARROWED!
VOIP!
I can be a teen Girl!
TWELVE-SIDED DIED!
My bass feels seaworthy.
CORN IS NO PLACE FOR A MIGHTY WARRIOR!
CEREBELLUM'D!
and much more random stuff.

So stop complaining about randomness, that's what TGS is. And this one was one of the best In my opinion.

Well SeaShelly, I'll vouch for Mary-Kate Olsen... but there were possums* in a few of the early TGSes and SB's Japanese alter ego Stinkoman did talk about cosplay once.

Anyhoo, this one's not bad. Countless new gags, even the old ones didn't feel warmed over. Loved this one. (9/10 or :sb:)

*Possums aren't exactly "creepy racoon things", but they're pretty close.

Yes, this was definately dark... even for TGS! But is that a bad thing? I don't think so.

Favorite Parts and peoples:
The Astronaut: (MEET A FIST! Chkk, she killed my dog)
Death munching a burger
The Stadium that is not a wife.
MARK!
Greg's pasty, blinding voip
The Raccoon Girl. Poor Raccoon Girl. I love you! (In a completely friendly way, of course.)
