Post subject: | Aught-seven Halloween |
Well, now that Halloween 06 is over, what say we start contemplating next year's Halloween. Does anyone know what toon theme could be used or even what Halloween costumes characters could wear? Just for the record, here are my costumes... as Leo Gallagher as Boris Badenov as Winnie the Pooh as Derek Jeter (of the NY Yankees) as Sean Nelson (from the band Harvey Danger) as Norm Peterson (George Wendt's character on Cheers) as Judy Jetson as Big Daddy Kane as Morpheus as Cookie Monster as a Borg as Garth Algar Also, I think that the Halloween toon I have in mind for next year could be the second one since the 2003 toon (3 Times Halloween Funjob) to feature a second Easter egg character besides just Homsar (in 2003, that character was Stinkoman as Speed Racer). For this toon, I was thinking of Senor Cardgage as the second Easter egg character. Here's who I think he could be... as Apu Nahasapeemapetilon (the Indian quickie-mart clerk from The Simpsons). |

this is a year from now, and we are trying to stop people saying what they want the characters to dress up as. |

What do you mean by that? |

well, the next Halloween toon is going to be a year from now. and, just about everyone is making a new topic saying what they want the characters to dress up as. |

That is what this thread is for. Besides, the forum is where the people at HRWiki said I should put speculations and such. Don't criticize this page before it barely has started yet. What's wrong with trying to get a headstart? I had some ideas and I just HAD to put them down somewhere. P.S., what do you think of my ideas? |

Yeah, I can definitely see Strong Bad as Sephiroth. Also, if you looked at my list of costumes, you would notice that the King of Town as the Cookie Monster would mark the second time a Homestar character dressed up as a Muppet (in 2005, Marzipan dressed up as Beaker). Cookie Monster in case you don't know is a character on Sesame Street. Also, I think a lot of the characters could be Rocky and Bullwinkle characters (which is why I put Strong Bad as Boris Badenov; I can see Homestar calling Strong Bad "Strong Badenov", much to SB's annoyance). In this case, I could see The Cheat as Rocky. I also think some characters could be Jetsons characters (that's why I put Marzipan as Judy). In this case, I could also see The Cheat as Elroy. What do you think of that? BTW, do you know who Morpheus is? If not I will tell you... |

as Boris Badenov as Winnie the Pooh as Derek Jeter (of the NY Yankees) as Sean Nelson (from the band Harvey Danger) as Norm Peterson (George Wendt's character on Cheers) as Judy Jetson as Big Daddy Kane as Morpheus as Cookie Monster as a Borg as Garth Algar I have too many ideas to narrow down to just one each, so here's another batch. Tell me what you think. Then pick out the ones from both lists that you like best and arrange them in a final list. Here's the second list... as Harold Green (from The Red Green Show) as Gene Simmons as Rocky J. Squirrel as Ken Masters as Sid Vicious as Tim the Enchanter as Storm as Darryl McDaniels as Mr. T as Franken-Berry as Jimmy Page as Waldo (as in "Where's...") So anyway, what do you think? |

I think it's too early to think about next year's costumes, quite frankly. |

What prime time was saying (In addition to "It's a bit early...") is that there are already multiple threads for costume speculation, one (and it seems to be the main one) only a couple topics down. True, that one does say "Halloween ideas for 06" but there's no reason why it can't serve the same purpose for '07. Otherwise there's just clutter. |

Yeah, not the best words to say, Cola. 'Specially since Trogga joined a month before you. I'm with Ian on this one, by the way. It's way too early. Being a "Weird Al" Yankovic fan, I really love that Pom-Pom as Al from the Fat video suggestion made by Teh Champeenship. |

The Ben Wallace outfit on Strong Mad was one of my personal favorites. So why not another athlete with a unique haircut? I say Strong Mad should be the (until recently) Golden Mohawk wearin' Chad Johnson of the Cincinnati Bengals for 2007. |

Yes, I am. I would've used that same name here, except I couldn't. I like how Strong Mad sometimes dresses up as an athlete for Halloween. I discovered that every three years since 2001, he would do that. That year, he dressed up as William "The Fridge" Perry of the Chicago Bears (football). In 2004, he dressed up as Ben Wallace of the Detroit Pistons (basketball). So I was thinking for 2007, he could dress up as a baseball player. I had some difficulty thinking up one, until I decided on Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees. What do you think? |

McDaniels as Joe Don Baker as Santa Claus as AND as STING (the wrestler, not the singer or the sword) That's my list. (Homsar as Trogdar???) I know I have a sick mind |

I think it'd be cool if SB came as an actual wrestler next time. What'd be even better though is a female wrestler. Roffle. Also, I think a few of these choices, though they may seem cool, are still too mainstream for TBC, especially Coach Z as Eminem. They always choose really hard-to-guess things. |

Roffle. Hmmm... that WOULd be interesting. I nominate either Chyna or Luna Vachon, since SB might have accidentally mistaken them for men. (There are several japanese female wrestlers, too, but that might be way too obscure.) |
