Um, Coach Z's shin joke- under par. Long winded. Other than bring my beep back, Homestar Runner's first message was completely unnecessary and the continuation lame. Crack Stuntman- other than pistols for pandas, under par. Long winded. Strong Sad's is sort of funny but disturbing in its lameness. Strong Bad's is only funny because he made fun of voice recognition and longwinded too. A lot of wasteful verbiage.

...Do you like ANYTHING about Homestar Runner EVER? If so, when? If not, why on Earth do you watch it at all?

You don't seem to realize these answering machines are ALL ABOUT talking. Saying that things are "unneccessary" and that there was "wasteful verbiage" is missing the point.

Hmm. I'm not familiar enough with patrons of the site yet, but I think it's ok for DDM to comment about the toon... even negatively. Even if he doesn't like *most* of 'em. The question remains: "why watch? if you don't like them." But, maybe DDM is just wanting TBC to do it differently.

ATTN DDM: it may not be the safest / sanest / most productive way to go about it, being *perceived* as constantly down on HSR productions, when this is a FANsite. But again, you should speak. Give more reasons, I'd say. Just saying "it's lame" or "it's longwinded" is venting, possibly therepeutic, but doesn't enlighten or persuade me (or some of these other commenters, apparently).

It wasn't the best, but I enjoyed this one.
I didn't really find Coach Z's or Strong Sad's parts too funny, but they were alright. Homestar and Strong Bad's messages were really grand, and the Panda joke was also a highlight. On the whole, another great addition.

Maybe I'm weird, but I actually liked Strong Sad's message the best. Just because he actually sounded really happy/excited, like he was about to burst out laughing. Definitely not something you hear from him very often. XD

Strong Bad's prank this time was pretty amusing, because I've gotten calls like that before - where it's obviously just a generic prerecorded message with specific names badly dubbed in like that. Plus the word "gigantobutt" is funny no matter what the context :P

Poor Homestar. XD

Shame on TBC for reminding everyone to start thinking of April Fools jokes. Shame, shame.

Wait, what did Coach Z do that would bring this into the PG rating?

Yeah. I couldn't figure that out myself.

Naw. His pervesities are confined to the weird and obscure (other than his obsession with Marzi -- that seems kinda normal given she's the only girl). He thinks he's a MOTHER after all... Maybe netzen refers to "his obsession with butts"?

I loved the pistols for pandas, that logo with the revolver eyebrows really cracked me up. and strong sad's call pretty much bombed most potential for a decent prank. I never did really like the answering machines that much but this one changed my mind

So this is weird. I paused some music to listen to the answering machine about shins. Guess what music I was listening to? The Shins.

I liked Strong Sad's message....

"Let's bake an Apple and Cinnamon Crisp, and tell everyone it's an Apple and Ginger Crumble"

That's gold!

That was totally worth the wait, just for that last one with Homestar.
"If you have some vines, or roots that you could throw my way, then I would be really, really... still alive."
That's not just funny, it's gaffaw-inducing.
