Obligatory Wikilink added by Tom: Homestar vs. Little Girl 2

Here, we have proof there WILL be a normal Halloween cartoon. It says so at the end. In case you don't know, this is the sequel to an easter egg in Decemberween in July. I wonder who the little girl is - she's hilarious.

So, what did you think of it? I think it's the best Puppet Stuff ever.

Good grief, but you're fast, Mrs. C! TBC hadn't even had time to update the main page!
I gotta say I laughed out loud when she kicked :hr: "in the grill." That was pretty unexpected. And pretty much everything after that was funny too. (Little girl masters comedic timing:
"Which do you like best, tricks or treats?"
"... ... ... Treats.")

Now, next topic for controversy: who is this little girl? What's her connection to TBC? Does anybody know; if not, conjecture?

I'd say she has some relation to the Brothers Chaps or Missy.. maybe one of their little nieces or something?

And yes, they DID have time to update the main page. That's where I watched it from.

We have certinaly been honoured this year - three haloween toons. I'm Not sure if that was what we got last year but I'm glad, these are really funny. homestar and the little girl are the best double act since Laurel and Hardy.

Wait--you're saying that at this moment, your main page doesn't say "Last updated 10/18?" Yikes! 'Cause mine does. I tried ctrl-F5 'n' all that too.

Homestar Runner and Little Girl are one of the funniest duos ever, especially with some of Homestar's quotes.

Anyone have a direct link? The Wiki entry doesn't have it up, and my main page will never update until a day later.

The sound effects were totally amazing!! Wow, TBC are the masters of movie making. You just watch.. there's totally going to be a full-lengther out there at some point.. either like a really long cartoon, or a live-action.. or else a series of many of those.. released on DVD-- ooh yeah, baby. :coachz:

Hee hee.. That's excellent! The true meaning of the "vs." in the title, and a promise of another toon. Hey, maybe they're going to make a 20X6 ween, like we thought, and then the character ween on All Hallow's Eve itself. It's probably not going to happen, but it would be cool.

I loved this one. It was hilarious. It does seem though that we need a 20x6 one to go with the pattern. And wto what Swoosh said, I think that it is the same girl.

Maybe she's you as a kid!

Yeah, it's the same kid as before, but I think she looks a lot older, especially in the still you see at the beginning. She's gotten a bit more articulate, too (although there's still plenty of room in that regard!). I wonder whether there was more time between the filmings than between the releases (i.e. Decemberween was shot longer ago than July)

They seem to have gotten progressively better. (I'm afraid I'm one of those who really has to work to enjoy the earliest puppet jams.) And I agree with socetew that a reasonable progression might be to a full-length puppet jam--or at least, I think it would be cool!

Hey, nice avatar, fahooglewitz. Do you make them, or just find them somewhere?

I make them. It's quite simple.

I don't know if it's been brought up before, but could that little girl by any possibility be the same one as, although a few years younger, the one in Mattcake?
They kind of do look alike.

Shudder

That Mattcake never fails in creeping me out. But, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the little girl in the puppet toons and the little girl in the Mattcake were one in the same. It's true, they do kind of resemble each other.

Ack! In all the excitement, we forgot Trav!!! Sorry bout that, bud! Don't mean to make ya feel left out!

http://www.homestarrunner.com/puppetween.swf

And I agree, the girl sounds much more articulate, and I noticed as a result H*R making more of an effort to make her sound like a cute little girl that couldn't talk... "Longipops?" And I agree the "I'm-gonna-kick-you" part was hilarious, partly because it was unexpected. I mean, she's a smiling, giggling little girl!!![/url]

The kid in Mattcake and the kid in the VS. cartoons are eerily similar. Look at the pictures of them, but upside down. It's much easier to compare them like that. Too lazy to do that? Fine!

I think they're one-in-the-same.

edit-Sorry for the jaggies, but I couldn't magnify her without there being a loss in resolution.

Wow, the pics do look very much the same... upside down. It's kinda wierd to see them side by side.

Love it to death. Not as good as the first one. I totally remeber having a costume like that when I was little. They put make up on my face to look like a jack o lantern and I cried and cried...
