Random, amusing, and bizarre, but not really the best. I'd give it a C+.

Ok, hearing Homestar sing the Duck Tales theme is making me feel old.

That was a bit short and uneventful, but still pretty funny. I liked the Ducktales shout-out and the small talk at the beginning. And does anyone else think "Broternal Order of Different Helmets" would make a good name for an MMORPG guild?

OMG! I loved it! This toon was pretty great. It was kinda hard to understand, but whatever.
I didn't laugh out loud to this one, but it was still entertaining.
I loved that Strong Mad can sew, that Strong Sad was voted into believing in the message, and the secret handshake. It's too bad I don't have anyone to practice it with.

I have to say that Homestar and Bubs were my favorite characters in this Short. I hope Bub's leg is ok. :)

1 word: dissapointing. Okay, there were some highs: Strong Sad believing in "Ever and more" by majority vote was quite funny, as was watching Strong Bad loose-it. It was just too unstructured and lacking of obedience to the other toons - and this is coming from someone who loved Drive-Thru!

If TBC are reading this, I'd say guys, don't make the toons too random! Drive-Thru worked because it had a main focus upon which all the comedy was centred, so people didn't loose track and could easily enjoy the comedy. This didn't - or atleast, it didn't become apparant what the main focus was until after Strong Bad's speech. Take an extra week if need be; just don't dissapoint us like this!

Um, I really liked this, and it actually wasn't random for me at all. It followed a clear structure: that of a club (which most of Free Country seems to belong to). You get the intro song, the vote, the secret handshake, and the presentation of agenda items. Maybe there wasn't a plot, but there didn't need to be. Just the H*R characters chilling out and doing routine club things.

The only complaint was that the sound quality was indeed poor, but even that led to a sort of feeling that everyone was talking in hushed tones and meeting in the basement.

This short was a bit of alright. Sometimes it's cool to see a large amount of characters come together for a sort of discussion, an open forum if you will. I love the idea of a secret club in which every character has a different helmet, because it's just so meaningless. Ane meaningless often means hilarious. Some funny parts were Strong Mad's unexpected ability to sew, (probably because he's one of the only characters with five-fingered hands and opposable thumbs), and Bubs' horribly mangled leg. I laughed out loud when he lifted the gimped leg above the table for everyone to see.

Even and More!

Watching it again, I could understand them better. Eh, I didn't think it was that funny, but I like the idea of all the Free Country guys belonging to a secret club. I think it enriches the Homestar storyline as a whole. I still wish that I liked the toon better, though.

About Coach Z's helmet: is it a Darth Vader helmet or a Dark Helmet helmet?

I, for one, quite enjoyed Drive-Thru. In fact, it's easily my favorite Short Toon. I dun know why... it just clicked with me. This toon, on the other hand, did not click with me. Goes to show that different things work for different people. ;)

I didn't laugh. At all. I didn't think it was funny. I was slightly AMUSED by the handshake part and the Duck Tales (yes, not tails, it's a play on the word tails)... theme, which I smiled at because I recognized it immediately.

Other than that, not really funny. Just amusing. Something more should have happened I think.

4/10

Though there were a couple of amusing parts, this was kinda disappointing. It wasn't really that funny. :-|

First post! First off: Hello, all! I'm new on the HRWiki forum, though I've been a Homestar fan since I was nine. =P

Anyway, onto business. I thought the toon was amusing enough, but felt a bit like a "filler" episode, know what I mean? It's possible something awesome is in store for us next-to-two-weeks-from-now. 6.5/10.

PS: Anyone else notice that Strong Sad's "yaaaay" was also heard in Sbemail "more armies"?

I personally really liked this one, especially the part where Strong Bad says Homestar shouldn't be leader, then calls him overlord...and the part with Strong Sad.So anyway, this toon wins not last place.

It's a Greek war helmet of some sort. I've seen a lot of ideas batted around on the wiki, from a gladiator's helmet to a Spartan helmet. It does bear a certain resemblance to Vader's characteristic headgear, though.
Hope that helps!

This latest toon was kind of lame. Even Strongbad didn't come up to his standards. I also think Eh Steve should come up more often in toons. :ehsteve:

Those are lines from the DuckTales theme song, which Homestar sings in the Easter egg.

I'm new here, so I'm a little confused about something - why won't the Wiki let me add the reference to Bubb Rubb, the "Whistles go whoo-whooo!" guy?

Thanks.

Wait. So, this is supposed to be a secret society even though it contains everyone in Free Country except Marzipan?

Is this the first time Buh-Hubs :bubs: closes his eyes? Wiki didn't mention that.

I thought about that too. I wonder what Marzipan does when everyone in Free Country mysteriously disappears? I wonder if she even cares/notices.

Knowing her, she probably just likes it better that way.

I'm thinking she's in the "Sisternal" order...their sibling chapter. After all, she ain't a brother. I can just picture her holding a secret meeting when only she's there.

...

Actually, it seems like she would get bored and just go ransack everyone's house, and then sell their stuff back to them for a great profit. Showing her rarely-seen aggressive side.

Homsar isn't there either. Maybe they have tea parties, as seen in unnatural?

maybe Marzipan tried to start a sisternal order somewhere, but being the only girl, was a bit desperate for members. so she went ahead and let Homsar join anyway, because the other guys wouldn't let him into the BODH because he was too weird and kept messing up the theme song, or something.

...OR MAYBE HOMSAR IS SECRETLY A WOMAN. LE GASP! D:
