Oh, and another thing I noticed... there are some marked differences between the Limozeen "original" of "Because, It's Midnite" and the Guitar Hero version. I don't own the CD, so does anyone know which of those two versions is on the CD?

the easter egg was hilarious.

That was hilarious. Just what I needed after totally failing that Java test I just totally failed.

I thought the Stinkoman version of Because it's Midnite was a little better than the sloshy one, though.

EDIT: And I loved that Easter Egg. But why are Limozeen firing on sloshy? What did sloshy do?

Not only that, the "original" clearly wasn't even the same version of their song, because it didn't have the long, monotonous guitar solo in it anywhere.

Schweeeeeet. I was just thinking, since I've been playing Guitar Hero games lately, that the Brothers Chaps are insanely talented musically, at least as far as being able to crank out realistic cheesy '80s hair-metal is concerned. I mean, doing all those character voices is one thing, but to be able to sing in that high range on top of all that... Matt is my hero. And Limozeen does an awesome job turning Sloshy's non-song into something palatable. FUN FACT: You can "mash up" the chorus with Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It." Sloshy, meanwhile, sucks. Much worse than I picked up on from the email, since decided they were his new favorite "metal band." Not only that, the "original" clearly wasn't even the same version of their song, because it didn't have the long, monotonous guitar solo in it anywhere. Awesome! I like their music things. I agree that they're really artistically talented, even when they're mocking those styles. I give it 5. I listened a second time, and I think maybe I was wrong about there being a difference; the Guitar Hero one just has the lead guitars mixed higher, covering up some things (like the keyboards in the last chorus).

I sorta liked Sloshys cover of Limozeen was actually better the Limozeens cover of Sloshy 4/5

a refrence to smoking isn't bad, they refrenced it in a lot of episodes before and no one's had a problem. And it's not like kids that are 6 or 7 watch this and go "Awesome man! Sloshy must be good cause they smoke!calls up 21 year old dude he met on his fake myspace Hey dude buy me some cigarettes"

I didn't mind Sloshy in the email, but I wasn't a fan in this toon (not that that wasn't intended, they're making fun of the genre). This actually made me like Limozeen better, though - they're cover was actually pretty good (coulda done without the rolled r's, though) I actually give this one a 4/5, mainly because I think the idea was brilliant.

Is it just me, or does sloshy sound a bit like Thursday? Except, you know, sloshy kind of sucks, while Thursday is awesome. Pretty good, especially the easter egg at the end. That was ROFL. 4/5

I liked it. Especially Sloshy's version of "Because, It's Midnite." Also, to me, TBC appear to Mudhoney fans. Sloshy has a similar guitar sound to Mudhoney and Larry Palaronchini sounds like the singer (Mark Arm) at times.

I wish I could change my vote to "5" because I haven't been able to get these songs out of my head since this morning. I love how Limozeen seemed like they enjoyed covering "We Don't Really Even" while sloshy... didn't really even care. And here I was thinking TBC had stopped making awesome music.

He says the lines in a surprised sort of tone and it's really funny. And I think you can download the original sloshy song from the wiki's Quote of the Week page.
