It would be much easier to write jokes then since the Irate Gamer is such a moron! Sorry if it turns out you really do like him.

Well, I don't like him, I was just responding to a suggestion earlier. I was just joking about that one anyway. No, I think Strong Bad should really be one of the following:

  • Gene Simmons
  • J.R. Ewing (from the TV show "Dallas")
  • Judge Doom

I'd really like to see Strong Sad as Edward Scissorhands and Homsar as Dwight Schrute. The latter more unlikely than the former.

There are no rules except "make Coach Z someone who raps" and "make The KOT someone who loves food".

Well, only four times out of eight has the KOT been someone related to food, at least where food mascots are concerned.

No, I think the rules that apply are as follows:
  • Coach Z is someone related to rap or hip-hop
  • The Cheat is a cartoon (or just animated) character
  • Marzipan is usually someone cultural/musical (the gender of that someone doesn't matter)
  • The Poopsmith is someone from something sci-fi-related
  • Bubs is someone that absolutely no one can recognize (not until the end of the toon in question, anyway)

OK i predict that The return of "Homestar Runners Halloween Party" has come, and it will be followed up with a game: like when the marshie game came out.

I think :homsar: as Steve Urkel would be hilarious as he would inevitably have to say "Haaaaydiho Neighbor-oh" which is essentially how he talks anyway. But I think Coach Z was already Tupac. It'd be funny if he was Slick Rick. Or, straying from actual old school rap(minus Theo Huxtable), to Kanye West.

Also, I've had a change of heart.
 as Travis Bickle, not as I previously mentioned Edward Scissorhands.

Homsar as Steve Urkel would be a good one, too, since they sound somewhat the same anyway (though Urkel's voice is much higher). And yes, Coach Z was Tupac already (in 2004). I think he could also be either Ali G or Big Daddy Kane.

And I doubt Travis Bickle would ever be used as a Halloween costume, as the old sketchbook showed concept art for rejected costume suggestions, including Homestar as Bickle.

Actually, I really like the Scissorhands idea.

Anyway, maybe Coach Z as Apl? (from the Black Eyed Peas)

Yeah, not gonna happen.

By the way, nobody thought Homestar as Jughead was a good idea. Huh, I thought that was gonna be a winner. Maybe nobody else here likes Archie.

I think those are pretty awsome costumes ideas.

I still stand by this one. I can see it now...
:hr:: Hey Strong Bad! I like your Evil Carmen Miranda costume!

Edit: Actually maybe tweak Bub's costume a bit to make him "Darrell Hammond as Sean Connery". Other than that keep it the same.

I just had another brilliant idea:

:cheat: as Figment (from Walt Disney World's Epcot)

Now that the forum's back up again, we can resume our discussions on what'll be goin' on.

And now that the teaser's out, we can look closely at what the characters are dressed as. I'm 100% certain of what Strong Mad, the Poopsmith, the King of Town, and Homsar will be. Also, I once mentioned Homestar might appear to be Beakman (because of the hair and pants), and I recently thought of a brilliant gag that echoes a line from No Hands On Deck: I am the Beakm'n. B-E-A-K-E-M-A-N. But we might not know the rest of the costumes completely until either the 30th or 31st (mainly 31st).

By the way, do you suppose the Bros. Chaps also check the forums for the users' ideas? Just a thought.

How could they? No one's been able to read them for a month. :-(

By the way, could you spoil us by telling what you think the costumes look like? The only one I recognise is Strong Mad as a Thwomp.

Be that as it may, I think the answer would be no anyway. They seem to be the type who pride themselves on coming up with their own jokes, and they resist efforts to get them to do specific things (like draw Strong Bad's parents).

Well, I'm at a loss for what they all look like, but "Strong Bad" looks like the Predator, Strong Mad may or may not resemble a Thwomp (an enemy from the Mario games), the Poopsmith looks like Dr. Zoidberg (what with the lobster pincers for hands and that strange nose-like dealie on his face) and Homsar clearly looks like Captain Caveman.

Strong Mad's a Thwonp. No doubt about it.

Poopsmith took some thinking, but I have a feeling he's going to be Zoidberg from Futurama.

And... I don't know why, but I get this huge Edward Scissorhands vibe from Homestar. If he goes as Edward, I will squeal happily~

Strong Bad's just wearing that Predator outfit to compliment last year's Xenomorph. ((Alien and Predator teehee))
