Well since Mr. heat miser has taken over the Northern Hemisphere, let's get crack-a-lackin' on the 2008 Homestar Runner Halloween Costumes. Here's my ideas, and please share your ideas with us...

:hr: - The fourth Doctor Who, Tom Baker.
:sb: - Since RickRolling is popular, Rick Astley. ("I'm Rick freakin' Astley. You know, 'Never Gonna Give You Up'? Rick-Rolling stuff?")
:sm: - Bizzaro.
 - Drawing a blank.
:cheat: - Pikachu.
:bubs: - Once again, drawing a blank here.
:coachz: - Will Smith in his "Fresh Prince" days.
:marzi: - Lita Ford, the '80s heavy metal guitarist.
:pom: - Another blank here.
:kot: - The Pillsbury Doughboy.
:poop: - Your guess is as good as mine...
:homsar: - We won't need to utilize a Easter Egg this year, Homsar dresses up as an elf from the North Pole.
:senor: - Clicking on Strong Bad will reveal Senor cardage as Mr. Wilson from Dennis The Menace.

There you have my ideas. What about you?

I think that Marzipan could also be maybe James Taylor and Homsar could be Wario. And how about Bubs as either Boss Hogg or J.R. Ewing (from "Dallas")?

Oops, I just remembered another one: The Cheat could also be Figment. Figment, in case you don't know, is a little purple dragon seen at Epcot in Walt Disney World. I mean, it worked when The Cheat dressed as Izzy, the mascot of the Olympics in '96 in Atlanta, so it would be a character that is sort of as random as this.

Since Ultraman is from Japan, why not have him be played by Stinkoman?

That would be the Muppet Dr. Teeth, leader of the Muppets' house band, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

Strong Bad would make a good Rorschach. Either that or Dr. Manhattan.

I could see Homestar as Nite Owl too. Dreiberg, not Hollis.

I'd kill to see StrongBad as Deadpool. It's not like he has to do much for a costume.

:sb: as Darth Maul, or did he already do that?

:marzi: as Princess Peach or Mary Popins.

:kot: as the Burger King mascot or Dracula from Castlevania.

:sm: as a haunted house or PeeWee Herman.

 as the Michillen Man...or the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man.

:poop: as a Ghost buster. I miss that cartoon....

:homsar: as Kelly Bundy from Married with Children.

:coachz: as the Fresh Prince of Bel Air or Fava Flav.

 as a hula bobble or an Acme anvil or Kirby or Tails from Sonic.

:senor: as Remus Lupin or Indiana Jones.

No, he hasn't done that yet.

Marzi would never be a video game character; she doesn't play them, remember?

I think Homestar would be better as Pee-wee. And Stay-Puft was already used, not by Strong Sad, but by Pom Pom.

Can any other Blade Runner fans here help me decide if Roy Batty or Gaff would be a better costume for :sb: ?

Perhaps :sb: as Heath Ledger as The Joker?

SB has already been the joker, and up-to-date references aren't really his style. I mean, he wasn't even Nicholson's Joker, but rather Cesar Romero's.

That's why I thought of it. I mean, Strong Mad was an NBA champ two years in a row.

You've got a point about SB not being contemporary, though. So you're probably right. Speaking of which, has anyone been right in their Halloween predictions before?

SM has only been an NBA champ once during Halloween.

As for being right in Halloween predictions, more often than not, no one was right. But I think someone here was proposed that Homestar be Artie the Strongest Man in the World from "The Adventures of Pete and Pete" last year. And come Halloween of '07, who should Homestar be dressed as but Artie! Of course, it could just be merely coincidental.

heres my guess list

Homestar runner lets see, he was angus young in one year, perhaps maybe tony iommi, i can see him as link(somthing tells me that has been done)

Stong Bad as... im drawing a blank

Strong Mad as a hockey goalie???

Strong Sad as pugsley from the adams family

The Cheat, i can see him as... possible darkwing duck, anyone remember that guy?

Bubs as Jerry Seinfeld some how?

Coach Zee as mandark from dextars laboratory? imagine him laughing as mandark?

Marzipan, somehow i can see as alice cooper, i mean she was Joey Ramone one year

Pom Pom, the angry sun from super mario bros 3

King of Town as, your guess is as good, maybe better than mine

The Poopsmith, possibly Fester from the adams family

Homsar, somthing really random and completely thought of on the spot, Homsar should be pinkey or the brain somehow

Marzipan as Alice Cooper would be neat, considering that she likes to dress as a male sometimes.

What if Homestar was Pit from the game kid icarus, then Strong Bad would be able to make fun of homestar for looking like an angel on halloween, um, what if homsar dressed up as a cup of coffee?

Does anyone else like the thought of :marzi: as Carol Cleaveland? Specific costumes I thought of come from Monty Python's "Marriage Counselor", "Attilla the Hun Show", "Scott of the Antarctic", and "Sir Galahad" sketches.

I don't know, I actually know most of the characters described on the first post, and the people H*R characters dress up as tend to be more obscure then that...

What I WOULD like to see, though are some other characters dressing up, outside the main cast. Remember Stinkoman and the Goblin a few years back?
