Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. The Thnikkaman...so funny. Funny how Homestar actually knew who he was.

After all this time, I finally know who the Thnikkaman is. I'd always wondered who he really was.
All in all, AWEXOME/ :hr:

The Thnikkaman is Santa? That's an interesting twist. I like how Homestar was the only one who'd figured out that the Thnikkaman is really Bubs with a th taped to his chest, and nobody else reacts when he brings it up. Obviously he's put a glamour over them. Or something.

Another Scalding Lake Reference!

Little known fact: There is a Lake/Park/Residential area near where the Chaps live called "Spalding Lake". I'm not saying directly that's where "scalding lake" comes from but, it's a possibility. They don't have any canoeing, but they do have a pool, and a tennis team.

I really liked it, haha, Thnikkaman strikes again!! But I'd like to see a longer toon next Monday (which is Christmas Eve)! I don't think we'll get one, but I'd still like to see one!

This toon was awesome! The whole thing was hilarious. The Bros Chaps definitely deserve a pat on the back for this one. ^_^

I just love how the trees in the stop motion animated Decemberween Special were Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes.

TBC have been making lots of good toons lately, and this is no exception. I give it 4/5, much like the number of Homsar chimes there are.

...We are just talking about Bubs with a peice of paper taped to his chest, right? Nice.

(no duh) and homestar runner came on new years eve on december 31 2000? why cant we have an episode about the memories of homestarrunner.com through the minds of strong bad, homestar, etc. but, obviously it will be diffrent for each of them. it qould be like the "strongest man in the world" remake

*singing* "I hate the Thnikkamannnnnn!"

Every time I watch something with him in it, it makes me want to say "Yeah, shut up, Bubs".

This was unfunny and weird...and Strong Sad's eyes were way too far apart in the beginning.

...and why wasn't he locked in the bathtub?

...and someone must have put the "Wanted: Everyone I hate. Inquire within" sign back on Strong Bad's door...or either he's gone soft.

Seriously, letting the King of Town in his house. Feh.

-2/5

...Why does everyone hate the Thnikkaman so much? I think the Thnikkaman is funny...

What on Earth makes him remotely funny?
He is just a waste of time when there could be jokes. Like with this toon, I thought that MAYBE they were building something up, than The Thnikkaman showed up a realized "Oh wait, I guess there won't be any jokes in this toon".

I was correct.

Maybe it wasn't Decemberween day. Seemed more like Decemberween Eve.

I still give it a 4.

A self-fulfilling prophecy, I think.

As for me, this D'ween toon was quite entertaining. I appreciate all the time and talent it took to make this. Mike and/or Matt wrote rhyming lyrics, set it to a tune and added a musical score on their Casio keyboard. Matt recorded not one voice, but several, which had to be sung just well enough to fit together into a nice chorus. I loved all the little details as usual: the Post-it note ("locate toilet"), the tinsel added to the classroom and Strong Bad's computer room, the treble clef in the French Horn's tubing, and the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes in the stop motion animation. Speaking of the stop motion, Brundo is adorable. I think Matt won an award in 7th grade for claymation. Whatever it was, they really rock at stop motion. I liked the musical qualities of this song much better than last year's Cheer Up, Coach Z. Overall, there's so more going on that makes the toon instead of it being simply laugh-out-loud funny.

And for those who think there will be a toon next week, I really doubt it. Last year we had What I Want on Dec 11 and D'ween Short Shorts on Dec 18. This year we spent Dec 10's toon on Nightlife and had what is likely the for-real deal holiday toon on Dec 17. If they made another toon for next Monday, it would mean they would stay up early into the morning of Christmas Eve to get it done. The Chapos deserve a three-week vacation; they've been dishing out new animations pretty steadily for the past half a year. You might see another QOTW, Fanstuff, and Sketchbook, but don't expect a whole lot else until January.

I wasn't a fan of Thnikky at all when he came out. I've come to appreciate him more with time. This toon made good use of him I thought. I especially liked getting to see the Thnikkaman singers this time.

BTW, the overtones Homsar makes in the Easter egg are every bit as bizarre as one would expect for him.

No, it lets you play on the Homsar chimes.

Well it replayed the toon at first.

It was cool but since :hr: figured out that it's just Bubs with a peice of paper taped to his chest, isn't this the end of the Thnikka?

Also, loved the Easter Egg! PRACTICE YOU HOMSAR EVERYDAY!!

Awesome! This song's gonna be stuck in my head all day now. It looks like we finally know what the Thnikkaman's for.

Oh, and who else wants to see Marzipan's cousin in a future toon?

Way to whine about the little things and not look at the fun song and stopmotion stuff at the beginning.
Seriously, if his eyes are too far apart, it doesn't ruin the toon at all.
