You know, those cartoons that'd appear before a movie (Looney Tunes, popeye) that were always at least 4-6 min.

I know it sounds dumb but i thought it sounded kind of good

It would be pretty cool... Although people would be really confused like...

They would have to understand a little bit about the website first.

I think Homestar's just too "different" for that. And, unfortunately, such shorts are a thing of the past... they tried to revive them with Roger Rabbit and such, but it never really worked.

I don't know about that, don't Pixar normally have shorts before their movies?

Whether or not a Homestar short could work in theaters depends on the plot of the short and the type of movie it accompanies.

Imagine Matt and Mike giving an Oscar speech.

Actually, that sounds pretty cool. Homestar Runner wouldn't be good in a feature length film, but I'd pay to see a short before one. :)
