Post subject:  Toons You've [Partially] Memorized
Have there been any toons that you've just learned by heart naturally? Even if it's only a certain character?

I've completely memorized Coach Z's lines in "A Folky Tale", and Strong Bad's in "Date Nite". I've also attempted to learn Strong Bad's portion of the story in "Homestarloween", but I constantly get confused between "lazor gun" and "vapor gun".

EDIT: And Strong Bad's lines in Concert too, don't forget those. Oh, and Coach Z's lines in Yello Dello, and "sisters", and all of Homsar's lines, and Rap Song, and...

I can do "20X6 vs. 1936" back and forth to myself, along with "Under Construction", "mile", "sibbie", and several other emails. And most of the songs, too. All in their proper voices, of course. There's no point to it if you can't do the voices.

I'd also do the same (but kinda quietly so nobody notices), and if I know it by heart, it's a sign that I really enjoyed it or found it rather memorable.

For me, it's mostly just individual lines that I memorize naturally. Not so much a whole toon. After all, you can only quote an entire toon when you're hanging out with your fellow Homestar Runner fans, but you can quote a random out-of-context line to anyone, anytime!

Probably my favorite is, "Dang, The Cheat. That computer's got something against you. Did you ever, like, pour Mountain Dew all over it?" Say it whenever you'd normally exclaim "dang," and watch as everyone suddenly wonders why you're talking about Mountain Dew. Also, whenever anyone asks what time it is, I like to tell them, "Valen-times."

The only ones I've ever gotten close to memorizing are the emails long pants and virus and the holiday short Malloween Commercial. Marshie is quite possibly the best minor character EVER. :eek:

Oh, and I also like repeating the lines for the orienteering video in "space program". That's one of my favourite announcer voices ever.

partially memorized?

I memorize nearly everything I watch on accident, mainly the first 3 seasons of spongebob, season6 of simpsons and some random homestar cartoons.

1 montage
2 flashback
3 theme park
4 for kids
5 haircut
6 old comics
7 morning routine

Why I would want to memorize any episodes of anything, animated or otherwise, I really have no idea. I probably have a few individual lines memorized, but even a lot of those I have to look up.

"Homsar" is the only thing that I have memorized. I have a few bits of The House That Gave Sucky Treats memorized as well.

I think the ones I've mostly memorized is Play Date, even though it was a weird concept, I felt it worked. Strong Mad gets a starring role in a Toon, even if it is a short.

Uhhh when I was in like grade six or something we used to always recite a folky tale. We just thought it was of hilarious back then. Don't like it as much now because of how much we overused it though.
