I'm hoping email 200 is really about Homestar trying to kill Strong Bad. Also:
"I gotta catch this invisible secret elevator!"

It was extremely short, but was funny. I hope #200 is as funny as this, and isn't just "being mean 2".

That was pretty great, especially Homestar. He's being his classic self. And I'll excuse Strong Sad's happiness because the Deleteheads leader is his out-of-character mode. Well, as far as decaffeinated Strong Sad goes.

4/5.

Yeah, I've always found Strong Sad as a Deletehead to be way out of character.

Maybe Strong Sad is drinking coffee now? Anyway I loved it. I can't wait to see what happens.

5/5 - Very funny cartoon and The Chaps could have taken a day off given that Episode 2 came out.

I'll bet 20 clams on Homeschool and Champeen being revived.

5/5- it was hilarious throughout.

I add fifty dolla to the idea of Homestar staying under the table for the rest of the week.

And since TBC is probably reading this to see what bets there are...

I bet that SBEmail 200 will have a Storybook based thing in it, like SBEmail 100.

This was pretty hilarious. As much as I love 'em, H*R cartoons rarely get anything more than a "heh" or smile out of me. This got two instances of uproarious laughter I usually reserve for television cartoons or MST3K.

The following statement will either seem extremely insightful, extremely farfetched or extremely obvious, but I love this toon simply because it pokes fun at the 200 speculators. <3

Homestar was absolutely hilarious ("gotta catch this invisible secret elevator..") and SS made me laugh quite a bit too. Awexome toon, might be a little distanced to the average Joe, but even without the subtle forum references you can still understand what's going on.

I find it hilarious that we're able to out-nerd and out-obsess a group that are essentially an overly-nerdy obsessive parody of us...

Phlip, you might be onto something there.

I sure hope Lappy makes it through this email. TBC have already exhausted old, broken-down computer ideas for Strong Bad's computer. If it doesn't make it, will he upgrade to, dare we say it, Windows-ish computing?

this was suprisingly funny. I hope the actual email is of equal quality, if not higher.
But this time always makes me think; how much longer? I mean, its taken us 4 years to get from 100 to 200. I know because I started watching just before 100. Will we make it to the big 300, in another 4 years? Will there be Sbemail 500 in 2020?
How will they end it? Will there be a big finale (which I think would be terrible) or will they just stop (which I think would be terrible). I think TBC would be in their mid thirties now, and I jsut can't see them doing it when their 60 years old. If they can, great. I'll always love this site. But being rational, I reckon we'll hit 250, 300 if we're lucky. Or maybe they'll end on a random number, like 286.
I hope not.

All right! I like this new, enthusiastic Strong Sad! And Homstar trying to kill Strong Bad with candles and a paper clock...classic! This really made my day, especially after a lousy night last night!

Aw, what the heck- it problably doesn't deserve it, but I've never done it before- 5/5'd!

I don't think that's anything we have to worry about for quite some time. TV shows are often on for upwards of 10 seasons and still manage to be creative, funny, and draw a big audience. The Simpsons has been on for ages, and Seinfeld had a 9-year run. These are half-hour shows, and TBC don't have to write anything that long, which is probably much easier.

I think (and hope!) TBC still have a lot more in them. The fact that they're branching to other media with the likes of SBCG4AP, and doing a really good job with it, to me, is evidence they have a lot more in them.

Anyway, on the cartoon: Strong Sad as SB's biggest fan makes me laugh to no end. He's already got the creepy gene going on, and to add that little bit of fan club stalker-ism to the mix is even better.

It will probably end in a whimper. Just people would get tired of watching it and just kinda quietly stop. One average every 2 week then 3 weeks Once a month. Once every other month... Probably being replaced with other tunes or a new gimmick.

I've been wanting a Windows 1.0 computer for months.

THE PENTY I

1GB RAM- more RAM than older computers!
128 colors- a rainbow of cool shades!
60mhz- 60 million hertz!
PENTY W/S- finally, NO MORE DOS!
One button mouse- not just a keyboard anymore!

One GIG of RAM!! 128 colors?
The Early Pentium models were closer to this setup.
60 mhz
8MB of RAM.
16bit Color SVGA display
2 button mouse (one button were only for macs)

The 386 could run Windows 3.11 quite well.
During the early Pentium Era. Windows 95 just came out.
In many ways the Pentium would still to much like a New Computer. And the 486 Laptop was around common for a long time after the Pentiums were out until they can make a laptop version of the chip. Lappy may have been made during the Pentium rieghn.

I don't really believe that the Lappy will die next sbemail, but I do expect to see those candles in an easter egg. Sbemail 200 could be about anything, result in anything...A big milestone, though.

As for the toon...5/5! I loved this toon, and totally needed a good laugh after one of my teachers (who some of the students claim is bipolar) exploded at some of the students in my class.

Ah, The return of the Deleteheads.
Funny, even better than 149.5 . Anyone wanna bet that the 200's gonna be at least 2 weeks from now?

Anydangway, I give it:

:homsar: / :senor:

EDIT: Changed 199.5 to 149.5.

What did you mean to type? There's no way a toon can be funnier than itself.

I loved the personality everyone showed in this one, especially from strong sad and homestar, but the only thing that bothered me was the ending. It seemed kinda weak.

There's no way the Lappy would be replaced now; they still need it to stick around for the rest of the SBCG4AP episodes! Teh C. is gonna lose himself 50 bucks. Pity; he did so well winning that car from Bubs.
