Well, my wish for a Decemberween CD (http://forum.hrwiki.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=14928) was granted.

But I hope this is not the only thing Decemberween related we get to have this year. It could be kinda like 2004, when they released Snowglobe and then Homestar Presents: Presents, or in 2006, when they released WHAT I WANT (email #163) and then Decemberween Short Shorts.

Anyway, here is the wiki link: http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/Hooked_on_Decemberween.

And here is the website link itself: http://www.homestarrunner.com/xmas08_album.html.

It was good hearing all those old tracks, though some of those must be from the DVD exclusives because I've never heard of them.

Good to see Brainkrieg again. Jugga Jigga Wugga!

Did you notice that on "Homestar Presents: Presents" the picture of Homestar was singing?

I just hope we don't get (the) cheated here and this is the only thing that TBC do for Decemberween.

Woot, I've been wanting a "Cheer Up Coach Z" Mp3 for ages! Still my favourite H*R songs. XD
Like the lyrics to Homestar Runner Presents: Presents. And good to see all the old 'favourites' return. And hooray for Brainkrieg! Yeah, I'll wear a black trenchcoat and hang out both behind and in front of the mall.

Reviewing the data, I'd say this is probably the case. The last two D'ween cartoons (Happy Dethemberween and Decemberween Short Shorts) were released on the 18th and the 17th, respectively. They're also essentially the last things they release in the year. Combining that fact with this toon's URL, I'd have to say it's pretty likely this is the big Decemberween cartoon of the year.

But hey, I've been wrong before.

This also is the longest Holiday toon at 6:58.

I haven't posted anything in months, but I just logged to say these four words:

SWORD THONG GOLD EDITION.

...and tell you all how much they made my day.

Well, I'm hoping this would be more like Snowglobe than anything else. And in the past, "A Decemberween Pageant" was released on December 23, so who knows? Maybe they'll even do a proper one late this week or something, I don't know.

But it could've been worse. At least we're not going without any Decemberween at all this year, like what happened in 2003 and then 2005.

I still think the "creepy and depressing all the time" line in Cheer Up Coach Z sounds like "forget about your worries and your strife" from Bare Necessities.

For last.fm monkeys like me, what should I tag as the artists for these?

None of them are DVD exclusives. The Dethemberween Thnikkaman is from last year's Decemberween toon, Cheer Up Coach Z is from the year before, Seasonal Sweaters is from the Decemberween In July thing in... 2004, I think? Homestar Presents: Presents is a new song to the tune of the background music in the 2004 Decemberween toon, and O Decemberween is from the 2001 Decemberween toon.

This toon made me nostalgic. It probably would've made me more nostalgic if I hadn't only started watching Homestar Runner in 2006. But no O Holy Crap? It's not very good compared to the later ones, and Strong Bad does get interrupted, but I find it charming. So I paused Hooked On Decemberween after O Decemberween and watched A Holiday Message. Problem solved!

Wouldn't have noticed the absence of Everyone's Looking without the wiki, though. I always forget about the toon that one's from.

I've already downloaded all of the songs. I've yet to put them on my iPod.
And I like to hang out in front of and in the back of the mall.

I swear, Brainkrieg's vocalist sounds like a blend of Weebl and The Singing Resident. I'm not sure if that's awesome or horrible.

Can you create multiple stations on Last.fm? Also, is there an easier way to remove artists than removing them individually.

I would tag them as "Matt Chapman", but I'm the type who hates crediting songs to fictional characters.

I think they disincluded "O Holy Crap" for several reasons: A) Some people find it offensive, 2) as stated above, "it's not very good", and D) I think it'd be harder to make into an MP3 due to its not being a finished song, what with Homestar interrupting with his own little speech.

And it's probably plagiarizing a real Christmas song. But then, "O Decemberween", too, plagiarizes a real Christmas song, so that can't be it...

I'd credit them to Strong Bad or Homestar Runner. I actually find crediting the characters more accurate than the voice actor, especially since it's not his voice.

I mean, when you buy "Still Alive" from Portal, it's credited as GLaDOS.

That's not plagarising. That's parody, which is protected under law.

Unless you parody the works of 4kids or LucasFilm. Ask Martin Billany and Doug Walker.

It was okay... but I am really hoping for an actual H*R characters Dween toon like Presents: Presents (something like a ween toon)... we haven't gotten one of those in awhile. We always get little goofy things for xmas. Like short shorts or the thnikkaman thing and this. While this is cool for the TGS thing at the end... I mean, they just kind of threw some songs they made a long time ago in here and put some lyrics over one. Obviously this was kind of a lazy thing to make because it has little animation that they actually had to work on.

I mean I hope next week we get a real nice dween toon. It could be about anything... Strong Bad looking for the right decemberween tree or or or... they could do a scrooge parody... or or or... they could have H*R on ice or some odd reason... I don't care!! Just a real toon! He could go to check his sbemail in the toon and then Lappy gets destroyed and for Decemberween he gets a new computer!! And then we could get a new years sbemail 201. haha.

Now nobody else needs to rummage through the entire QotW archive to find Cheer Up, Coach Z! : D
To me, this 'toon' sort of felt like a present from TBC to us, in the sense it isn't so much something big but they're giving us something..? I dunno, maybe it's just me.
I love the Homestar Presents: Presents song, it was really depressing in a sweet way haha. And If I Don't Get Video Games was freaking hilarious.

For the artists, I put The Brothers Chaps, it has the added bonus of sounding like an official band too : D

While I'd luv another toon, I understand something small right now... I mean, it's almost Christmas! I'd rather them spend time with their families. Those adorable Little Girls are gonna want their daddys to take them to see Santa at the mall or buy them presents and such stuff - so that should be their main priority.

Being able to download "The Dethemberween Thnikkaman" made my day. Homestar certainly didn't get me a bad present this year!
