Behold! My crazy theory why it was removed.

There was no action in the toon. It was just them doing jumping jacks and some stuff added to make it more interesting.

But, it was still a good toon.

it was removed because homestar and strong bad aren't funny and the stuff they say wouldn't be in toons today they are far by the men they are right now. (atleast TBC think that and this is for both cartoons marshmellows last stand and jumping jack contest)

Can't you let me have anything? Plus, I still think that A Jumping Jack Contest was classic Homestar.

Oh noes, we need some action. And humor. It'd be crazy if we ever got something without those.

No one really knows why the toons are off the site, I think it was personal regions. Though they were on a DVD I think so at this point they might just be holding out on us.

Personal regions? Holy crap! TBC have a country? I wanna go there!

Fingers crossed A Jumping Jack Contest and Marshmallow's Last Stand will be put back for the 10th anniversary of the website.

Sometimes I wished that if "A Jumping Jack Contest" ever returned, the Poopsmith's jar would have a giant label (maybe reading "liquid whatsit") obscuring the contents. I also kind of want TBC to make the toon and "Marshmallow's Last Stand" 25% smaller than the rest as an obscure reference to the Star Wars Limited Edition DVDs. (In which the original versions of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi were finally made available, but without 16X9 enhancement) "Pom Pom, Too" already has more black around the borders.

I always thought the toons were removed from the site because the sound was out of sync with the animation.

Yeah, well, they could fix it. I think they did that with Marshmallow's Last Stand on the DVD.

From what I read, the DVD has worse synching than the mirror.

Lemme check the wiki.

Quote:
The poor synching of the dialogue and the sound effects appears to have been fixed — until the part where Strong Bad forces a bomb into Homestar's stomach, after which the synching is much worse than on the website.
Strangely enough, the synching appears to be completely fixed during the commentary.

So, they could fix it.
