As a Vista user, I've never had any major problems with it. The loading time when you logon is annoyingly long, but otherwise everything's fine.

Weird, my Vista is perfect and only takes like 10 seconds to load after I log on.

I have two computers and two laptops, all with Vista.
One of the computers and one of the laptops takes a while to load.
And one of the computers and one of the laptops is quick to load. So, it's not a Vista-problem.

I'm not sure if i will get used to this oversized computer. It kinda reminds me of a Dell or an HP computer.

True. But Vista is here. Vista is here, today. To be replaced by Windows 7 sometime soon. For no apparent reason.

But if it's supposed to be a contraction, then it's I-T-apostrophe-S. Scalawag.

I think the new computer is a bit too new for Strong Bad.
Besides, we know that something has to be wrong with it.

Why is everyone bashing the Vista? I'm running one right now and it's fine, better than XP. That might be because of my 4GB RAM though...

Yeah, they're just scared to admit that it's good.

Although, some say it's going the way of Millennium. But ME was here for one year. Vista's been here for like 3.

Because of the bad publication & reviews it got in it's first few years. It's kinda like the presidency or a long awaited game, where the outcome doesn't live up to the hype. People should know better, but they get ticked anyway. Know what? XP sucked it's first 3 years & then it got better. Vista is good now too. If you buy a brand new OS without waiting 3 years for all the kinks to get worked out, you deserve all the punishment it gives you.

That was pretty good. Loved the Poopsmith's costume and "Why did they print that whole exchange?" But I'm a little concerned with Stro Bro's computer choice. I'm simply never going to get used to a screen that huge and design that fancy. Overall I'll give it a 4/5

Maybe you guys are just bad with computers.

Vista's not great; Windows 7 proves that. Vista freezes, doesn't run your old some of your old XP programs properly, and if you're not good with computers, it's easy to contract a virus. Even Microsoft has admitted that Vista isn't a perfect product.

However, whatever version of Windows you have, as long as you're smart, you can get by without getting virus, and find work-arounds to the glitches. Windows offers you a lot of freedom that you don't have with Mac.

Let's get back on topic, that is, discussing this toon and not comparing versions of Windows.

I agree. I'm sick of this forum going from talking about the new toon to bashing Vista. But anyway, I didn't really get the full effect of the toon until the next day, because I stayed up till 4 AM transcribing it and writing the subtitles script and all, but Strong Sad's "That was the happiest I've ever been..." still cracks me up. :p

Vista is indeed a very bad run program, well for a computer artist and computer game lover it is. Almost nothing works properly on Vista besides the things that come with it (example: LIVE! Cam Avatar Creator,WWM) However other things like,Spore,Wolfquest and Camstudio work badly/don't work at all. Besides the programs there are very minor issues you need to pay high attention to understand.
Anyhoo to stay on topic I decided to change my rank to a 4/5,would have been a three out of five if it was a sbemail. I changed it because I got bored fast after hearing SB read the descriptions of different coms,over..and over....AND OVER

You guys realize to be a sbemail, as they have said, all you have to do is insert him getting an e-mail on Corpy at the beginning going "Dear Strong Bad, isn't it about time you get a new computer?"

... and thus... watch the rest of the toon.
