*sigh* I guess the year Pom Pom dresses up as MGS2's Fatman will have to wait for at least another year...

Coach Z looks feline (can totally see whiskers).
Marzipan will probably be some dude, again. Maybe Beethoven. Or some other composer with wild hair.
And Homestar, frustrated with how Marzipan is a dude every year, decided to dress as a chick this year. Seriously, what I'm seeing on Homestar's chest is... a CHEST.

Wow. It would be neat if Homestar was Austin Powers. And it might just fit, too.

"Dr. Evil, I declare eggs not to be...FRUIT!" (Now imagine Homestar saying that in his speech impediment)

But just to be contrarian, let's see...King Louis XIV. Just a guess.

Pom Pom...if he's a car...wild guess...Chevy Volt

And KOT, (not my guess here, it was The Wheelchair in an earlier discussion and if he's right he gets credit) Wendy's Girl.

Marzipan, maybe a Truffula tree (did I spell that right?) from The Lorax. Maybe.

Strong Mad DOES look like Sal from Money For Nothing, assuming the
skinny guy was Harv. I thought it looked like Spongebob until now.

Since the teaser shows Robocop Strong Bad(I called Robocop Poopsmith,
though), there's still time to see if I was right and he dresses like Optimus
Prime or Achmed The Dead Terrorist.

Until I saw bell bottoms on Homestar, I was hesitantly guessing Dr. Frank
N. Furter. And the Poopsmith probably is dressed as Electro.

BUBS: suit, pointy hair
STRONG MAD: jagged body, oddly-shaped head
STRONG BAD: obviously a red herring
THE CHEAT: oddly shaped head, shaggy hair
HOMESTAR: long hair, bellbottoms, platform shoes, beard
MARZIPAN: full head of hair
POM POM: squarish thing to his right, pipe-like thing to his left
STRONG SAD: wearing a shirt and pants
POOPSMITH: jagged clothing and spiky hair
KING OF TOWN: unusually smooth hair with some of it sticking out to his left

I copied images of The Cheat and Pom Pom and pasted them in MS Paint. Then I put in colors and appearances, and what do I get? The Cheat as the Lorax and Pom Pom as a Pooka from Dig Dug! I suggest you try it out with the others.
I also looked closely at the Poopsmith's wrists and ankles, which contain bands. And seeing he has a spiky back, a distinctive hairdo, and a bit of a beard, I must agree with whomever said he's dressed as a Goron. He's gonna be King Darunia.

Now if you look closely at Homsar's head, you'll only see SHORT, curly hair and a bowler hat. Who do you think sports such a look?

I knew I recognized Strong Mad from somewhere but I couldn't remember where, but now I know... He's the guy from the old Swatch watch ads! At least by my vague recollection of them.

The Poopsmith doesn't have a beard.

The red herring is Robocop.

For Homestar, use the flash file and zoom in very closely.
