'K, I just got home from school and saw this. The Cheat as the Lorax? Love it. What're your thoughts? 5/5

Glorious! I really liked the costumes this year, but two Zelda characters?

I loved how no one could say "macabre."

Oh that's rich. The majority of time they're characters I don't know, save for one (maybe two) that I will recognize.

Figures that the first year I can't make any guesses whatsoever, and four end up dressings as things I know. :P

(Homsar, King Of Town, Marzipan, Poopsmith)

Oh, and 5/5 - honestly I might have picked 4/5, but I'm adding a point for my humility.

It was great!I liked how :cheat: was the Lorax this year and for those guess :coachz: being as Skat Cat, great jorb!

Also, :marzi:'s costume keeps reminding of Kristen Dunst when she play Mary Jane Watson from "Spider-Man".

It seems there are many films which the Bros. have watched and I've never seen any bit of any one of them. After referring to the Misfits' images, I recognized the painted skull, though.

So basically, I recognized 2/3 costumes. I couldn't get where the character the KoT was dressed as was from until I saw the name.

And with this 'toon being the 10th Halloween special and the plot being Edgar Allan Poe-esque, there's no telling if there will be anymore. Coming up with new stories can be a bit time consuming.

You know what I don't understand? Why would Marzipan become peeved before Homestar mentioned the nail-clippings?

Crap. KOT = Not Wendy's Girl. Moving on.....

Wow! Two Legend of Zelda costumes, Coach Z's "fate", McArby, the Poopsmith danceth, cardboard cutouts.... don't get me wrong TBC, I want to rate this a four, but you've put together a solid 5/5 Halloween Toon!

Oh yeah, did I mention crap? KOT = Not Wendy's Girl.

ONION BUBS!

I was able to recognize Strong Bad and The Poopsmith instantly (liked their easter eggs), and I knew the Cheat was something Dr. Seuss. I liked Marzi's short red hair. I found this to be very grim, especially Strong Bad's fate.

Best. Halloween. Toon. Ever.

FAVORITE PARTS

:hr: It's like I'm wadin' through puddin'. ROTFL!
:sm: The Cheat? :)
:sb: With real hands?
:homsar: Heavier gourde!
:kot: The most expendable!
:cheat: The Lorax!
:poop: Pom Pom was full of toxic gas, and killed the popsmith very fast.
:pom: Pooka!
:coachz: No sense beating a dead horse.

And once again half the characters dress up as people I don't know.

 :hr: :bubs: :coachz: :marzi: :homsar:

What?! They didn't use Camille Saint-Saens's Danse Macabre! It's the coolest piece of creepy classical music ever written! Seriously, look it up!

But that doesn't stop me from rating it a solid 5/5. I thought Bubs was one of the Men in Black before the very end (aww). I actually did predict that Bubs might dress up as one of the Men in Black as very, very wild speculation earlier, not on this forum.

Every time I see Pom Pom blow up as a Pooka, I just burst out laughing. And the whole Strong Bad with real hands (especially when he's not able to type with normal fingers) really brightens my day.

I think that having three video game characters is a little much though...

Homesar "running" with several knees is hilarious to watch. Also yay for referencing Run Lola Run. It says something about the obscurity of their costumes that that was one of the few I've actually heard of (but I didn't recognize it until the caption). Quite appropriate for her, actually.

Freaking hilarious from start to finish!

Also, Strong Bad as the Skull Kid from Majora's Mask, pure win!

I admit, I'll confess, I'm impressed. I actually recognized some costumes this year! And not just some but I only didn't get :bubs: :coachz:  :marzi: and :pom: ! That's half the costumes! Anyway, this was really hilarious, especially the ending. I loved No-Knees and Several-Knees Homestar, as well as Real Hands Strong Bad. Glorious.

So totally called :coachz: as MC Skat Kat!

The only ones I couldn't recognize off the bat were :hr:  :bubs: and :marzi:. Thanks to the rope and loving the Clue movie, I was surprised to pick up Col. Mustard (also: Clever, Bros. Chaps. Clever.)

Loved this toon. Along with the Easter eggs for :poop: :bubs: and :cheat:'s, this soundly deserved a 5/5.

I LOVED this one!!
For once I actually recognized most of the costumes! :coachz:'s brought back some long-lost childhood memories. I KNEW :poop: would be a Goron when I saw the teaser. (At first I thought :marzi: might be Tori Amos). I was totally creeped out with :homsar: dressed as Annie. :sb: as the Skull Kid totally made my day...

High Points
McArby. ('Nuff said.)
"Umm...you're already Coach Z. No sense in beating a dead horse." LOL!!
Onion Bubs: "Welcome to my world! Eh-heheheheh!"
Macramé :hr:
:sb: with human hands! Dun-dun-DUHH!!!

This totally rocked.

     /

I am disappointed that I didn't get my annual Green Goblin fix. Though that may be because he peaked last year.
I really didn't know any of these but Homsar, which is a bit sad. The major funnies were Coach Z and Strong Bad's fates. Hilarious. But generally I'm not too fond of this one. There's been better Halloween toons.
EDIT: Oh I knew there was something else. Bubs was brilliant, once again. Especially fan favourite ONION BUUUUBSS!!! Yeah, been waiting for that BCS with a face since I first saw Pay Plus whatever.

ONION BUBS! Now with a speaking role!

And finally, a costume that I've actually seen in person! (Bubs as Jules)
A well deserved 5/5.

2 Zelda costumes? Must be Christmas, not Halloween!
I actually just finished Ocarina of Time again not too long ago and I'm now playing Majora's Mask again, so especially cool.
The Poopsmith's dance during Saria's Song was 100% right on, I was almost on the floor!

I thought it was a great halloween toon.
I especially liked :pom: , :sb: , :cheat: costumes the best.

I mean :pom: as the Underwater orange juice man is pure genius.

Doesn't Strong Bad know about the Inverted Song of Time?

5/5 mostly for the great costumes.

This one was nice. I liked the costumes.

Also; it appears that Strong Sad has a Death Note.
We should all be very afraid.
