My...3rd or 4th poll.
So, how did you like A Jumping Jack Contest?
Funny? Boring? Hysterical? Ludicrous? Boo? Facepalm?
Still no re-voting.

"Awww, I drank too much melonade..."

This is the first toon that proved Homestar had potential. Sure, they didn't have the animation thing down yet, but they could make a story random enough to keep our intrest!

I give it a 4/5.
It's not the lip-sync problem, it's.........
I don't know.

Yeah, while the lip-syncing isn't perfect, it's still and improvement over MLS.

Also, people who say they can't believe TBC made MLS, you gotta remember, it was the first full length flash toon of Homestar Runner, the two before it had no sound and no story. Obviously, the lip-syncing would be poor on anyone's first attempt. And lots of times, the first thing on something meant to be funny isn't always funny the first try.

I know. I don't mind if something isnt synced good on someone's early try.
But I dont know why I gave it a 4/5...

I actually liked Marshmallow's Last Stand a lot.

:hr: "Hey Pom-Pom... Look over there... for no reason..."

:pom:

And then Homestar vacuums it all up with his mouth. Hilarious.

Yeah, MLS was pretty good for a first try.

ooh! And at the end, when homestar jumps into his magic star, shouting "HOMESTAR RUNNER" as the "antique" Homestar Runner theme song plays... Brings imaginary tears to my eyes every time.

I never liked it when Strong Bad's head gets blown up.

I didn't like MLS cause Strong Bad lost and got beat up a lot.
I like Strong Bad so I can sorta see why it got removed.
Anyways, I give A Jumping Jack Contest a 4/5.
Greetings and goodbye.
-Great Jorb!

It was great cartoon! The only thing I didn't like was during the last half of the toon, it went off lip-syncing for some strange reason.

That's due to the age of the toon. Back in those days TBC were still working on their animation style, as well as getting used to flash. This is a definite improvement over Marshmello's last stand though
