Wait, Homeschool Winner and Champeen were in it? I've watched it like three times and I don't see them. Which part are they in? I love those guys! :)

Wow it's amazing how much you can miss when you're not looking for Homeschool Winner. I didn't notice that Marzipan scratched the table, or the fact that there are two Bubses at the same time before.

Still didn't see Homeschool Winner and Champeen. Are they maybe just resources in the swf file but not showing in the actual cartoon?

They're silhouetted during the Waiting In Line scene. If I recall, The Hurricane and Homestar's psychotic niecenephews are there too. :-D Has anybody decompiled the flash to see them properly?

Loved the toon, broskichaps. I think Marzipan had some great lines, and Pom Pom's scene was pretty fantastic. Homestar is a frisky little bunny, isn't he. ;)

Mmm seconded, except for the 'boost at store' part; I trust TBC's morals since they've been consistent about them for a decade. There's most likely a legitimate reason for the increase in store presence. Also "cartoons for children", lol u mad.
(I'm joking please don't hurt me.)

hey i never really posted here when they WERE active but what the hell

i was just on the site today to watch the Trogdor anniversary video from two years back and got really excited when i saw the new toon! missy definitely put a lot more into Marzipan and it was kind of refreshing! I'd say I wish for more Strong Bad but Homestar deserves a little limelight sometimes

RIP homsar

How is it that "Hot Pooey" is NOT a choice in the poll?

:senor: The toon was good. :senor:

Voices seemed to be a little off to me.

Isn't it weird that Homeschool Winner was inplied to have died, yet he's standing at the very front of the line in front of Bubs' Concession Stand? Also, I believe the 3 Unguraits stacked on top of each other were in the very back of the line, just before Marzipan.

Well, it's nice to see a new toon after 8 months, but I doubt this means anything. If they do start regularly updating next year, I'll be glad to be proven wrong, but I don't recommend anyone get their hopes up. TBC wouldn't just magically stop being busy. This is probably something they just made in their free time, and put up on the site to get boost at the store. They have just released a new calendar and all.

Eh, cartoons are for children, anyway. B)

Or maybe it wasn't to get a boost at the store and was because they hadn't had a toon in a while so they decided to be nice and get one made during their free time.

also woo for being a kid at heaert

Also I did not really hear any difference in Marzipan's voice...

The next toon should be, whether Decemberween-related or not, about consumerism and plugging merchandise. Since people seem to think that may be what they're going to do most of the time now. Or did think. Or will think. Something relative to time.

I dunno, how is "Our family is so great" not a choice? Six minutes, lots to choose from.

They come back after 8 months and they kill my favourite character?

C'mon, guys, Homsar is not going to die. If he can survive a Heavy Lourde, he can survive... um... lying in snow and being skinny? Yeah, why not.

While we're at it, here's some other things that are also "for children":
  • candy
  • a lot of good video games
  • Christmas presents
  • soda
  • fun rides
It's a good thing most people don't care. :p

Thought it was very, very funny. Love the suggestive themes, it's a natural extension of the characters and didn't seem out of place to me at all.

Although I thought Homestar was very on point, my favourite line was:
"egghghghghghghghgghg not muchh.... i'm just........ dyying."

Finally! I was just doing random toons and after watching a few I went to the menu. I went to go and watch another random toon and saw that the menu had a button saying "New Holiday Toon!". Naturally, I freaked out!
It definitely wasn't the best, but just because I'm happy they're back, I gave it a 5/5.
By the way, poor Homsar! :homsar: May he rest in peace!

When Marzipan, Homestar, and Senor Cardgage are waiting in line, you can see their shadows.

Strong Bad killed Homsar in his first toon, so it's not like he hasn't died before. :)

I thought this toon was awesome. Especially since it centered around senor cardgage... and his toyota cressida troubles...

I actually found out about the toon on the actual Homestar website not the wiki. I was like "Holy crap a new cartoon! :D:D:D:D:D" Then I was basically smiling the whole time until Marzipan went on that long description of the people she wanted to help. Freaking annoying. But I laughed out loud when Senor was like "Oh, I'm fine. I'm just...dying..." XD

I love the part where Coazh Z pops in & out, then Cardgage slowly appears from the bush.

Is only half of Cardgage on the postcard a reference to a DVD cover?

Lol, Homestar started the 4th grade.

Mmm, Dinty Moore. So meaty....

I like how both the audio & graphical quality have improved. The colors, Duke, the colors! *_*

Aah, easter eggs, how I've missed thee.

YES! I cried when I checked the wiki as part of my routine bookmark check and there was a new toon! Thanks, TBC!

Also, what was with that guy asking Homestar to sign something? What was the reason for that? :O

(By the way, longtime H*R fan, new to the forums.)

Bubs put up a fake Bubs at his stand. Would you put it past him to put up cardboard cutout customers?
