I don't think it's possible unless the password was really obvious. Like "strongbad".

In case you're wondering, that number would translate into 3 10-digit phone numbers, with one number left over.

(555)-555-5855
(555)-SENORMO
(784)-AGE-TODA
Y

I guess that means you have to call three differnt places before you can see if you can stand to talk to Senor Cardgage for more than 4 seconds.

I showed the mortgage toon to my brother (who did and still does think Homestar is retarded) and he laughed hysterically. We still quote it a month later.

I definitely thought that toon was... lacking. There is some really, really hilarious stuff on H*R.com. Most of it is pretty good, but some of it just doesn't work (like most of the 'toons' (not shorts)). It's funny, but for me it's not rofl or even lol.

rofl? What the crap does that mean? Anyway, I thought that this cartoon was great. I can definetly relate it to those obnoxious morgage commercials you see on TV. I think that Strong Bad will find dislike for Senor Cardgage if he ever sees this commercial.

I love this. It's good stuff. It's kinda funny, because there is an actual Homestar mortgage company. ( http://www.homestar.com )

Homestar Mortgage is based in Atlanta, GA... Made me wonder if it's like thoraxcorp... except that, after a lot of checking, they look legit (the mortgage co.)...

Because of this toon, I cannot help but laugh at the Ditech commercials now (or any other time I hear refinance or refinancing)...

Homestar mortgage company? Based in Atlanta? As in, where TBC live? Is that a coincidence or what?

could be where they got the name for homestar runner, or not. Who knows.... probably just a coincidence.... or a high level government conspiracy.... Maybe senor Cardgage works for Homestar Mortgage...

No, "Homestar Runner" came from when someone said somehting like "All Star Homerun hitter for the Braves". And their friend, knowing nothing about baseball, said "Homestar Runner for the Braves"

You can still watch homestar stuff. There are tons of mirror sites that I'm guessing your HS tech people didn't block. Not that I condone going behind teacher's backs or anything <evil laugh> Muahahahaha!

On a thread related note, I showed the "Cardgage Mortgage" to my dad last night (he's worked in a bank for 35+ years), and he's generally scared that he's gonna lose some business... In his words, "I just don't know how we're gonna compete with those <expletive deleted> percent signs!"... Gotta love pops.

In response to the Homestar mortgage thingy in atlanta, I saw the building on the fourth of July weekend. I'd take a picture of it, but I don't venture that far into Atlanta much.

Here's a funny thing about that whole mortgage thing. There's a mortgage website called http://www.homestar.com. In fact, the first time I tried to access the H*R web site on my own, I ended up there instead.

That has, in fact, been mentioned a long while back.
