There's a "puppet jam" called Mission Control on the toons menu. nothing happens when you click on it.

weird. any one know if it really exists?

Very pecilular indeed. You must have caught them mid-update or something. I'd expect the url to be http://www.homestarrunner.com/puppetjam4.swf so you might want to watch that.

That's true. While its description does not follow the exact format and wording as the three previous Puppet Jams, I still think it is going to be a Puppet Jam. There's a "JAM" in the tiny box in front of it, just like the other three, and it is listed on the "Puppet Stuff" toons page.

But we are really looking too far into it at this point. Let's just wait and see what develops.

I've checked (yay for LiveHeaders in Firefox), and the link definitely goes to puppetjam4.swf, which doesn't exist on the site. I'm guessing it'll be up tomorrow, but it's so unlike TBC to have funkiness on the site like this.

I love the Jams, not least because TMBG has endured for so long as my favorite band of all time.

If I had any complaints about the Jams, it would be that the video and sound are of poor quality, and they're so short. I wish I could download high-quality video and MP3 versions. Hopefully when the DVD comes out, they'll include some extended Jams with DVD-quality video. Or at least Bar Mitzvah camcorder quality video.

Speaking of TMBG, they're finally taking pre-orders for their upcoming album The Spine and its companion EP The Spine Surfs Alone. They'll ship on July 13. I ordered mine yesterday. Hopefully we won't have to wait long for the video from their first single, "Experimental Film", which as you all know is being animated by TBC.

Hey, I didn't know that! That's so cool!

The puppet jam idea will get better, I think.

This toon did exist on the site at some point. I distinctly remember watching a Puppet Jam linked from the main page (the cycling button where all the latest updates are put) that had this title. I don't remember it well enough to have any idea why they would remove it, though.

You're probably thinking of a different Puppet Jam. I highly doubt that we would have missed a new toon on the "What's New" button. We noticed the toon when it was listed on the toons menu with no url. I assume you've checked the wiki page, right?

Utard, it was supposed to be out in June. People have been saying that it will be out the next Mon for like months now. If it's not out by now, it's not coming out at all.

I just watched it. Yeah, it's short, but oh so sweet. I think they may start updating the puppet stuff on Fridays for awhile, at least until they run out of footage. They said back in 2003 that they wanted to have another feature on the site updated every week. Who knows? They might run with the puppet stuff for awhile.

I watched it. It was way too short and didn't have enough funny lines but I still liked it a little

score: 4.5/10

Here's the old wiki page if any one wants it. All it has is the stuff that is in the new page's Trivia section.

Yeah, there's not really much there, but what was there was kinda charming enough. I'll probably have the song stuck in my head for awhile, so for that it gets at least a B-. I must be really out of it with the Puppet Stuff - I didn't realize this was actually a 'lost' thing on the site.
