It's been said before, but it merits saying again: That was freaking awexomelicious. I didn't really like the Thnkikkaman one and the blonde one, but the rest were pure comedic gold. Strong Bad's giving up on his prank call cracked me up, the "You said you'd bake us a cake" was reminiscent of Sibbie, but way funnier (I burst out laughing), and having a goat for a face is truly genius. The only thing I'm suprised didn't happen was someone saying "Goat face! Goat faaace!" a la "Rose Face".
Score: A heck of a lot / Not a very lot

{no swearing -DG}

I thnk that Katstar meant that he was waiting for H* or Strong Bad to yell out 'goat face!' like Strong Bad yelled 'Rose Face!' at the end of Rock Opera.

I liked it, didn't think it was particularly great though...

Goatface was awesome, and the whole Homestar message rocked ("Now I'm the goatface killa"). But Strong Bad's pranks seemed a little more mean this time than usual.

And as for Bubs... the Snickerman character never really did much for me... I just don't see what's funny about him (besides the fact that they never really explain what he is, which I find more annoying than funny).

Just to put in my two cents on some of the titles that have been conferred on this update:
* Best Recent Update: "Rampage", easily. Best lappy email, probably the best sbemail since "Dangeresque 3"
* Best Answering Machine: How can you compete with "I'm a pretend guy... who comes around... and... gets run over by a lawnmower blade!" The "crazy curly fries" one was pretty good too.

XD As soon as he said "You said you'd bake us a cake" the second time, I could tell it was going to turn into song.

Awesome machine. Pity about the length... Strong Bad made two excellent calls, and I love how he fizzled out on the second one. The 'genius!' goatface drawing=hilarious/10

It was also funny how Homestar took Strong Bad's prank as gospel.

It kinda seemes that in the Goat face message Srong Bad kinda just didn't care. Like, he had feeling to do it.

Um...at the risk of everyone on the entire forum bombarding me with eggs, I didn't find this one very funny. Homestar's message was pretty funny because of the, "and you said you'd bake us a cake," and the part about Boyfriend Dan. Thnikkaman's was kinda funny, even though I never saw what was so great about him. I liked the "Here hang-ups the Thinkkaman." But I find it strange that TBC would bring back Li'l Brudder one week then Thnikkaman the next, both previously one time characters. I've never found Strong Bad's prank calls very funny, and neither of them on this edition were an exception. Marzipan's message to herself also wasn't funny. So...don't hate me, but I just wasn't into this one. I thought the Stinkoman update was much funnier.

Same with me. Except that his prank calls are pretty funny sometimes.

That was by far the best MAM since Dead Guy Perenze. 9/10'd!

Yes, I looked at answer12.html and listened to all the messages. I didn't think it was anything that great. And before I posted, I listened to them a second time just to make sure there was nothing I missed. It wasn't much funnier the second time around. So I guess I'm crazy or just have a different sense of humour. I know you were trying to be funny, what with the oh so creative mispelling and the link to the boring math page, but, uh...try harder.

I just don't see what's funny about, "Your boyfriend's dead," "You've been eating baby seals," "You're going to die." Stuff like that doesn't amuse me.

I hope you didn't think I meant anything mean by the comment you were replying to, cuz I didn't. :) I was just joking around and trying to help you enjoy MAM 12 as much as I did. Try to be nicer to me next time, please?? :-S

Um, Princess? Although I absolutely loved this answering machine, I didn't laugh. However, that trigonometry page CRACKED ME UP!!! I swear, there were only two sections where I wasn't LAUGHING MY ANGLES OFF!!! All in all, though I disagree with your opinion, I will accept it. It will take a lot of restraint, but I will keep from trying to convince you that math is indeed funny. On a lighter note, I think that the "Bake us a cake" song will be a QOD/W/M soon.

"You said you'd bake us a cake."
That's just brilliant, and, of course, since it contained the Thnikkaman, it automatically gets 11/10.

Goatfaced Killa... heh heh heh!! I love it! It was funny when I saw it as IJ's avatar, even funnier to hear it!

Hey StrongRad, I have a question. Are you the same StrongRad from the old wiki? The one that was friends with SteveBad and you made a million wikifanstuff things and held weekly Homestar quizzes. I missed you guys. :-(

No... That's not me. I didn't know there was a strongrad on the old wiki. I hope he wasn't trying to use this name here. I feel bad now.

If he hadn't used the name already, I'm sure he wasn't trying to use it. Don't feel bad. Feel good! :hr: :p

I thought 12.2 was pretty good, Thnikkaman is always nice to see and "You Said You'd Bake Us a Cake" made my day. I can't even think about it without singing it to myself.

However, if Marzipan really isn't a true blonde, what do you suppose her hair color really is? Maybe that purple band that we've assumed to be a hairtie after all these years is really her roots showing. Although that's ridiculously stretching it. Still, a purplehead Marzy sounds funny.

EDIT:

And I forgot to mention that I was sad that there was no Coach Z this time. His messages were always my favorites. Maybe that kick in the crotch a few answering machines back has discouraged him from calling.

Well, after the kick, he called in #9 saying that he breaks in.

Hilarious. I knew it was going to become a song after he started repeating it.
9/10 for no Coach Z.
