I thought the nod to the old Homestar theme song was funny, as was H*R calling the KOT santa. And my favorite part was when Homestar woke up to "what a nice frying pan nap." or whatever he said. lol.

The strong sad stuff was more weird than funny though. Yikes!

BEST TOON ON THE SITE, I am not kidding.

Best line:

:hr: Ok, remember from health class.... *looks serious* Excuse me, sir or madame, do you need medical resistance?

The best part about that was that I just finished my CPR class.

I love so many things about this toon:

POM POM! SANTA!

bringing back Caleb Rentapayer, that show had be going from the e-mail.

Homestar in some Dangeresque.....esque glasses.

THE LIST GOES ONNNNNNNNNN

This toon was good at some points, but at other points it wasn't. I enjoyed it. Favorite part: Homestar running; imitating his own theme song.

They should have had an empty soda can on the couch at the beginning to help explain Strong Sad's craziness.

"blue and ones"
I'll stop there before it's classified as spam.

Actually, he was referring to the Boolean operator AND, which would make it search for pages that have the words "blue" and "ones". Not the phrase "blue and ones". And Google uses that operator automatically.

Anyone else think that he only wanted the ice cream? Not just to 'freeze the bug out'?

He did say delicious....

Yes, this toon was or-some, however there were so few easter eggs that I wasn't sure when the toon was over and then my compy blue screened and my friend's house burned down, and then there were no easter eggs all over again!

I think Strong Sad has been acting really weird for a while... maybe we're getting some insight into why the super-cool Strong Bad developed such a dislike for him.

I don't know if it's worth mentioning on the main page, but it's obvious what the KoT means by "I told him the sun doesn't rise and set on that pile of whatsit."

And "can't you see Grandma's watching her stories" must have come from somewhere,, since "stories" in that context is an Af-Am term for soap opera. Any suggestions?

I really don't see how Strong Sad is supposed to be acting "weird" in this.

Strong Sad is more like the "whiny kid brother" to Strong Bad now. Strong Bad sold his underwear online and he went and got them back. Then he was happy when he got them back. His air of depression and poetic culturalism was still intact in this episode. He was watching something about shakesere.

Even Strong Sad would react this way if his brother sold his underwear online. Besides that, seemed pretty in character to me.

What a great big toon that hasn't been given to us for a while. It was good, and it starred less of Strong Bad and more of Homestar (or maybe 50/50). The good points:
*Strong Bad's obsession with the Caleb Rentplayer (I think that's what it's called) show
*Homestar singing his theme song
*Homestar's technique from medical class
*Pom Pom's return
*The King of Town's popsicle is his prescription.
*"It deliciously didn't work!"
*Bubs' businesses
*Strong Bad shutting up Homestar twice before hitting him in the face with the skillet
*"That was the best skillet nap I've ever had!"
*Strong Bad taping himself to the television set
*The conclusion of the episode (which I like to call) "Who shot Mr. Caleb?" (try to find what show I was referencing)

That was pretty good, except for Strong Sad and his craze to find his underwear. Not that it was bad, but it wasn't that funny. Oh well, this is worth a Strong Bad email, especially since they're not that good these days (of course, the recent ones were pretty good).

Actually, the weird part about Strong Sad was really just...the blue ones...

And SB didn't actually sell his underwear. Just needed to get his brother away from the TV.

that was brilliant, especially the throwback to the homestarruner theme song, classic. Bub's various professions, the caleb storylines, and the apparent conclusions of the "good times". classic. where was the :cheat: ?
still great.

Yes, I very much enjoyed this, as well as the other most recent stuff they've done.

They are, but it's not like they have to bbe in every toon. I mean, Pom-Pom is hardly on the site, and he's a main character. As for Homsar, the less we see him, the funnier he is when he does show up.

Are these images too absoutely-pointless for the wiki?

Scenes from Caleb Rentpayer, previously considered too shocking for unobscured viewing!
ImageImageImage

(I like this Flash Decompiler program :D)

Seriously though, this toon rocked. This was one of the funniest things on the site of late, and that's saying quite a bit. No loss of points for no easter eggs from me, a joke doesn't have to be hidden to be funny.
Jam-packed with one funny thing after another, no waiting around to make sure you get the joke like in a lot of sitcoms - just relentless jokes that you have to watch several times to see them all. Just how I like my humour.
And I can't believe noone's quoted "Why aren't you breathing, Caleb?" yet. funny stuff.
17.2 out of 17.2

Seriously. "I'm afraid the good times are over!" and its associated lines have to be the best ones!
