A new Homestar toon gives me the warm fuzzies inside. I've been hearing that Flash is dying for years. Always wondered what the Chapman Bros & other flash animators would do when the time came. |

I'm not very technically knowledgeable. I've been asking some of those in our community who are, but so far no definite answers of what all this means for the future of Homestar. As for the toon itself: Funny stuff.  I especially liked the dialogue in the "fallout shelter". The thought of Coach Z repopulating the human race (IS he even human?) was wonderfully jibblie-inducing.  Kubrick should have done THAT for the ending of Dr. Strangelove!

While it would take a while, I guess they could put their Flash toons through something like Swiffy. Plus I've seen a few people say that on the subreddit Flash now has an option to export to HTML5. |

Great and also funny stuff. Homestar has different eyes in this one. Also, this should have a poll:  6/5 Beans b/w Rice 5/5 I don't even know what a billfold is. 4/5 I'm vulnerable and should be updated. 3/5 This is horse giblets! 2/5 I thought you were just a filthy sack! 1/5 Head for the hills! Er...bushes.

Google wrote: Swiffy can handle converting simple Flash games into HTML5 I think that TBC would rather do a full conversion of the entire website into HTML5 at once rather than parts at a time. It'll take a while to convert the more complex games they're created. |

I hope this new redesign means they'll change the menus to something else and update the sbemail menu to the lappier. Or they'll just recode everything and leave it all the way it was. |
