I think I've found my new favorite toon on the site, man - this cracked me up and entertained me the entire time. A total four minute reminder of why I love H*R so much.

The 'dripping yellow madness' sequence with the "I wish I had a date with a wall" line... that was just too classic for words. Plus, I LOVE the fact SB wasn't used until the easter egg - I dunno, I got the real sense here, more than any other toon, that TBC realize fans complain about SB being overused, so they toyed around with our senses by not using him in the regular toon to get our hopes up, then they added him right into the easter egg! HA!! And it had another great song in "Cool Tapes"!

I just loved everything about this one. An easy A+.

:eekdance: TOTPD!!! :eekdance:

I ment not in the real toon.

You know, I KNEW someone would do this. And it makes me angry.

Dripping Yellow Madness was great.

It was pretty pretty good. The song was cool, and the scene with Homestar, Strong Sad, and the death hole was gold, but it's not my favorite ever. I don't even think it was as good as Bug in Mouth Disease, actually.

The thing that bothers me is: Where did Strong Sad go? I'm sure there was a wall involved, but where? Missed Easter Egg opportunity for sure.

7.5/10 . . .

This was a pretty good toon. I find it weird that Strong Bad wasn't in it at all except for the egg. But it's the good type of weird.

Word. I'll give this toon middle rating, 3/5. Where's The Cheat and Bug in Mouth Disease are still my all-time favs.

I loved this toon. I liked the death hole, Bubs stealing his own stock, and Marzi's grin. Plus, Homestar was as good as ever, and we finally get a break from seeing Strong Bad. Unless you watch the Easter Egg.
9.7/10.

That was as good (if not better) than "Where's The Cheat?" The Death Hole rules.

Heh, I really like it! It's so funny! It's in my top 3 toons favorites! TBC did a great job with Homestar and Marzipan in this one. It really brings out their personalities.

I loved this toon.... but did anyone else think that Marzipan acting sheepish was COMPLETELY OUT OF CHARACTER for her?

Yeah a little, but we've not really seen much of Marzipan, so maybe TBC are giving her character a little more definition here.

Hey another question - did anyone else hear Strong Sad call Homestar "Homesar" when he came in? I re-listened to it, and can swear he said "Homesar".

Happy to see Homestar back as the star of the show. I loved how DYM and Stan were real people. The song was great.

This was pretty solid, but it didn't make me laugh. I liked seeing Homestar as the main character. 7/10 from me.

Depends. In an interview, TBC sai that Marzipan has been evolving to become more and more like Missy herself, so you can't really say.

Just a bit too random for me. Didn't get quite the laughs of Cheat Commandos or Bug in Mouth.

7 thumbs up

That toon was freakin' awesome. I loved how Homestar and Marzipan seemed to be back together in this toon. Funny how Bubs was actually closed!

That "Moved away after 5th grade" thing was ok. I actually moved away after 5th grade myself, never saw any of my elementary school friends again... Dripping Yellow Madness was awesome, and I loved Homestar's shades.

Marzipan was great in that episode. She actually smiled and stuff. Haha. That band was great too, The Cheat on drums, Strong Mad on guitar (hey, he's actually good on guitar!), and Marzipan singing. Cool tapes!!

I kinda thought it was cheap how Strong Bad snuck himself into the toon... but oh well...

10/10.

I really liked this toon, it had a lot of the comedy style of the older toons.

It was pretty good. Not my favorite, though. I liked the lack of SB. (apart from the Easter egg) Homestar was quite funny and it was nice to see Marzi again. Loved the Death Hole. 8/10

This was a great toon! Good to see Homestar stand for the site once again. And instead of waiting for the paint to get painted off (what happened with Strong Sad and his date?!!;)) they form a band around it. That's like two new expressions from Marzipan. Just a solid toon overall, well done.
