Yeah, that's what I thought he said too.

What is this? This is.... really out of left field. I can't rate it because part of me refuses to believe it exists. Three reasons for that:
- Second main toon in as many weeks
- No SB or Homestar
- based on the most obscure character ever

But it's all Strong Sad, so that made me grin. :D The art style was really nice too, I'd like to see more of this watercolour type stuff. The only part that really made me laugh out loud was the Homsar egg, but the rest was awesome if not funny.

Pretty good toon, and.....two in one week?!!!?!!? Well now for art styles we got 20X6, 1930s, old site versions, old comics, and now the sorta watercolor thing. What cracked me up most was probably the "gonna have a gooood time tonight" song cause it sounds so goofy.
My big question is what Homsar's hanging onto??

Oh, he's just flying. He likes to do stuff like that. See his characters video.

:homsar:  :coachz:

Anyway, I can't believe I forgot to rate this. It was truly awesome. Better than "cool things," which was great too.

Definitely 5 outta 5 The Cheats.

Another excellent toon for the second week in a row, and with no SB in it to boot! Not quite as good as Cool Things (which I still think is a classic), just because the fairytale premise dragged a little, but it was excellent. Particularly loved the dancing brothers, Weird Snake Joe, and the letter from the townsfolk, but it was all good. Also, bonus points for basing this on such an obscure character. A-

Wow, this is awesome! Strong Sad appears to have quite an imagination. I think that when Strong Sad says "misery," he sounds kind of weird. And Coach Z never fails to make me laugh. When the Coach sings, it just can't be bad!

That was... good!! 10/10!
I have to admit, Saddy Dumpington was the last character I'd think would rise up in a toon (considering that Strong Sad's Lament is quite overlooked). Maybe Sterrence or Coach Zed, but Saddy? That was unexpected, to say the least. I'm lovin' Coach Z in the end. He's never failed to get a laugh out of me yet. :)

It was great to see a Strong Sad's Lement reference, especially since that's my favorite part of the site. The folk tale part looked like it was drawn on art pad, but I'm probably the only one who would think that. The "gonna have a good time tonight" was funny, but it kind of felt forced. Oh well. Anybody know when this came out? I gave up refreshing the main page every 20 seconds around 10 last night.

I noticed that too. With the fact that it looked like opaque didn;t go all the way.

I believe it was released just shortly after midnight. After watching it I breathed a sigh of elated relief.

"Finally I can rest in peace".

An excellent, excellent toon. I think TBC made two Big Toons in two weeks to give us back-to-schoolers one last little fling before the end of summer.

"Their shoes broke and they stopped dancing immediately!"

One of the best ever. 10/10.

Not bad, not bad at all. The dancing brothers ruled, they were the funniest part of the toon. Saddy's "great: quotes were... great, actually. I think Homsar was saying "AaAaAaI'm an honorable man" At first i thought he was going to say "Im an honorable mention" but it sounds more like man. In the end, 7.5/10

Well, what do you know, two big toons in a row that don't star Strong Bad.

Highlights:
All of Saddy's depressing stories.
Danceing Brothers
"The Danceing brother sneezed themselfs into comas"
"Oh No! I killed the Elephant Man!"
Both easter eggs.

9/10

It was funny. I laughed at the fact that Saddy didn't know he depressed everyone. And also the note was funny. And Strong Sad making up a whole story just to avoid climbing a rope.

Lucky. I've been back in school for 3 weeks. Monday's are crushing. I have to go to school AND not get to watch the new toon.

Now that would make sense seeing as how Coach Z thought he killed the Elephant Man.

Wow. Um. I dunno. To be honest, I really, really, DID NOT like this toon. I mean, it just doesn't feel right. It feels...surreal. And not the good kind. I didn't laugh much except for the mention of Coaches X and Y and Coach Z's dancing, and even then it was just a weak grin. Not even Homsar's easter egg improved it.

And I don't understand why people get so mad whenever HSR or SB appears in a toon or something and say to focus on other characters. Those two are the main characters, of course they're going to show up fairly often! Remember what happened when they made a Mario game without Mario (Mario is Missing)? That was just sad.

Ah well. Better luck next time.

I thought Bubs said, "alright YOU is my dog too," to Homestar not "he was my dog too." Someone earlier in this thread said he was saying, "he was my dog too." I could be mistaken. But the wiki says "you" so I'm sticking with that.

I loved this toon. Coach Z saying that he killed the Elephant Man got a laugh out loud from me.

I wasn't too impressed when I watched it this morning, but after I was more awake and watched it after I came home from school, I found it much funnier. This toon rocks, Yay for Absolutely NO Strong Bad!! And two toons in a row is awesome! Though I liked Cool Tapes better, since Hometar is just hilarious. 9/10

Best.

Toon.

EVER.

      /      (6 outta 5 Strong Sads)

Highlights: Saddy's "isn't that great" things, and the part about the Dancing Brothers sneezing themselves into comas.

Homsar is such a cutie! At first I thought he said "Carmel Corn for President" again. I like someone's suggestion of "I'm an honorable mention"! That sounds more like something he'd say. I liked this toon a lot! Especially seeing Coach Z be SS's actual Coach again. I like how vague it is whether they go to school or not. I'm surprised they made something big from the secret page, but I'm glad because I totally love Strong Sad's blog. Most people I know don't know about it though, so I'd bet TBC are having a bit of a laugh at the people who are like, "Saddy Dumpington? What!!!???" Both this and Cool Things were very cute. And as to the great SB/No SB controversy, I think it is wise to give the main's a bit of a break so they'll still be fresh and funny. That's why I don't watch "Interview", "Kid's Book" or "Little Questions" too often, because they're my favorites. And it's also nice to have a slice of the life with some lesser characters, so they won't be quite so lesser anymore.

wow. this toon was great! it cheered me up after a long hard day. now i can't stop saying "Isn't that great?" after every sentence! And i have that good time tonight song stuck in my head. but now i am ready for strong bad.

does anyone else think it's ironic that they show all the other unused charactors but pom pom? It's funny how people were complaning about not seeing him and they get all the other charactors. :p

What about Luigi's mansion? Now that was pretty fun. Plus there's lots of Marioesqe games without Mario in them, the ones that focus on Yoshi namely. I dunno, I just don't think that sounds like a fair comparison at all.

In any case, I wasn't planning on arguing that at all. I was just gonna predict Wednesday/Thursday's Quote of the Week:

"Gonna have a good time tonight..."

I loved it. It's nice to get away from the main characters sometimes. It can't ALWAYS be about just Homestar and Strong Bad... it will get old fast if it is. This was refreshing, original and quite funny. The art style reminds me of old children's books. I like Dumpington more than Strong Sad himself.

Coach Z saying he killed the elephant man was hillarious.

I like it a lot. Hopefully we'll get more of 'em in the future. But I want to see Level 9 of Stinkoman 20x6 now!
