Marshmallow's Last Stand featured Strong Bad as a main character. The most recent non-SB present-day toon is "anything" the email.
Yeah, you're right. I said Marshmallow's last stand to mean that I couldn't think of a full toon without SB. Anyway, do you think that SB will get cloned one of these days?

Actually, that would be Senor Mortgage, the toon. That's the most recent Non-SB toon, I belive. (Learned that from a proposed fun fact in STUFF)

I think "Strong Bad Email?" comes after "Senor Mortgage" doesn't it? Technically speaking, Strong Bad's not in that

It reminded me of the style of animation used on a lot of fat-pie.com stuff. Please no-one wikify that by the way, I don't believe for a second it's actually modelled on fat-pie

I liked it! 9/10. Strong Sad rocks, and so does his made up folk tale. :)

But I do miss Strong Bad emails. You think they'll have one up later in the week? It's not a Monday without Strong Bad! :sb:

Or early week for that matter.

Anyways, I liked the Homsar easter egg, though I can't tell what he's saying. O_o

Hey, is this the first time a Big Toon was posted two weeks in a row?

Now for review: I found this funny, but It won't go on my Top 10 List. :)

That was so messed up. I loved it. I give it an 8/10. No Strong Bad, nothing more than a mention of Homestar. The entire focus was on lesser used characters Strong Sad and Coach Z, plus Homsar and Bubs within Easter Eggs. I wonder if we'll see Saddy Dumpington again. He might get another toon later on or make a cameo in a Strong Bad Email. It's funny, because he looks like Strong Sad and he talks about the same stuff that Strong Sad would talk about, but he doesn't realize that the things he's talking about are depressing; he thinks they're happy things. Good stuff there.

Wow, seriously, I think TBC visit this forum. We were just talking about the lack of supporting character toons the other day, and BAM! A supporting character toon. W00t.

It was hilarious. 10/10. It had me ROTF all over the place.

Yea, this should shut up the "No more Strong Bad!" people for a bit.

I've noticed this toon and the last one were focusing on the lesser used characters. I think TBC are devloping them so they can be used more.

I find it funny how everyone is going "ZOMG! 2 TOONS IN A ROW!!!" when that was really how it was ment to be.

Yea, I hope they keep this pattern going, so SB can sit back.

10/10

We'll probably get a Strong Bad Email next week. I don't really mind though, it is the most popular section of the site. It is nice to get something different every now and then though.

This was a pretty good toon. I think most of what Saddy said was funny because he said "Isn't that great?!" every time. The Homsar egg was good too.

Well, TBc really are kepping up with bringing out old, forgotten Characters.
Overall, Great toon. 9/10.

ah an the water-color type animation was amazing! I hope they make more in that style. The scripture line sounded like an R&P discussion over here. I really do think TBC visits the forum!

Could it be? Strong Sad has his very own toon without that pot-bellied wrestler barging in?

I'm suprised TBC would even remember such a minor character from a secret page on their website.

I just noticed something when I looked at the wiki. When Bubs tells homestar "he was my dog too" I thought. Bubs likes to humor homestar, and if Homestar has to lay low because of his "dog" Mabye he accidentally killed Rondleman from Regional shipping mangagement resources!

My favourite toon - officially. I hope we see more of Saddy. The watercolour backgrounds were a stroke of genius.

This was a great toon, and quite a surprise! With no email on Monday, I though we would have to wait another week for an update. This was a great toon. I really liked Coach Z's parts, despite the fact that he is far from my fav character. And :homsar: was priceless. Nice job TBC.
10/10

Do you have a pun permit for that?

Anyway, I loved it. Best toon in a long time, I was ROFLMAOOL all over the place. 9.5/10.

This is a great toon. It sounds like Homsar is saying "I'm a horrible man!"

Two things in a row without Strong Bad. I hope you're happy people! Maybe now we can get back to Sbemails.

Anyways, for focusing on my least favorite character, this toon was pretty cool. The dancing brothers made the toon a lot better by dividing the depressing sections up. I wouldn't have found the homsar egg for a while if IJ hadn't put it in his avatar.

    :cheat: /10

It could've been a little better. I thought for sure before and after watching this it was going to be a short, but it's a big toon. Now we can get back to good old SB.

I thought this was great. Saddy was hilarious. And Coach Z yelling at Strong Sad to climb was by far one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Simply excellent. It seems like TBC are going back to something closer to the original character descriptions instead of having everything based around SB and his various creations and alternates. (I'll still count Cardgage as one of those until he gets a character page of his own.)

I can see how some wouldn't really dig it. Some of the things Saddy says and does are a bit creepy, especially the bit with the cricket. Reminds me a little of The Lil' Brudder Show, which a lot of people weren't too fond of. (Not me, I loved it).

Funniest line for me: "The Dancing Brothers were allergic to foxes and they sneezed themselves into comas". Glenn, Martbell, and the Killer Dynamo ruled.

10+/10.

(BTW, my first favorite big toon is Strong Bad Goes To Jail, which was all about SB, so I'm not a hater. Still glad to see them mixing it up. Aren't the non-DVD version of KoT and the Cheat Commandos toons the only other toons SB doesn't voice or appear in?)

A very-well done toon, and yes, NO SB! Very funny, and very original.
 Fear not, townsfolk! Famine is no doubt right 'round the corner! And gross bugs and rats sleep in our beds! Isn't that great?
