I love this short! SB's comments at the end are hilarious, as are SS's and HR's appearances during the short. Pretty great.

"Hey, loincloth, please to be putting on more clothes. Ugh... like five or six... more clothes."

I liked SB's comments. They were soooo true. Also enjoyed gothified dairy queen.

I couldn't make it to DragonCon '05...

Rub it in, Mike and Matt. Just rub it right in!

Although I did kinda like Strong Sad's costume, his funky pronounciation of "anime" grated on me for some reason.

The easter egg with the KOT was hilarious!

But I doubt I'll ever watch this toon again, though. The bitterness is just too much.

I'm late on this as I've been so busy this past week, I haven't check out H*R for the Labor Day update. However, I think this toon was terrific... no awesome!

I went to an anime convention once last September... I think you find it funnier if you have SEEN in PERSON the things Strong Bad is making fun of. Yes, some of those women in scampy outfits do not have the physique to be women in scampy outfits.

*sigh*

And you are surrounded by people that are dorkier than you, although you sworn that could never happen! A girl asked me and my friends if we wanted to go role play in the hallway... some kind of japanese anime thing I had never heard of, with names I barely understood... no wait, I didn't understand them at all!

The things that make it all worthwhile are, of course, the things SB spoke of. Weapons, the HOT babes in scampy outfits and sometimes the cool outfits. I took pics of some that were amazing.

But anyway... lol... it was pretty dern funny to me!

9/10

Love Homestar's lines best!

=====

OH. And the horn thing being on all pages. I imagine that it moves on every page but is meant to only show up on the virus page or main page 22. It's part of the button update I think. Ya know, the one that says whats new. Since Main page 22 is "wider" than the other pages, it only APPEARS on that one... because it is only meant to appear on that one. The easiest way to do it is just make it part of the button update I'd think... rather than changing just that one main page .swf file.

I thought this short was great.

"The fact that your costume is accurate down to the tiniest detail does not change the fact that that TV show sucked." :sb:

LOVED it so. It was great. And, btw, if people are affended about the Scimply clad ladies or whatever, then think about this- TBC were once thinking of making a swear episode, where the caracters all cut lose after all this time. But thank god, they never did. So, I wouldn't worry about a silly little comment like that.

Well, my fav part of this short was  costume. Hes the best. And classic :hr: ... "left, right, right, right-no, left...". Theys sure do know how to make up for a SBemail.

I really liked it. Kinda long for a short, but it didn't have any credits, and I guess that's what separates the shorts from the toons.

This toon owns. Nothing made me happier than seeing Strong Bad stick it to all you Japanimation nerds with your awkwardly sexual costumes and mindless obsession with all things Japanese.

The short was great. Could done away with the scantily clad references, but other then that, they fact that the short was longer then some Big Toons was great. The easter eggs were golden, too.

Aaah, I made fun of a lot of my obsessive friends who went to bunches of conventions during the 'con season that year with this toon. Great fun.

Homestar was, as always, classic Homestar.

"Left, right, left, right, right, right... NO! Left, right..."
