Clear your cache or whatever. It's in the top right corner of the sbemail menu screen.

Here's a screenshot with both new links.

And here's the button on the main page.

If y'all still can't see them, then I can't help you.

I think the chances of getting a Strong Bad E-mail from the randomizer is even less than one might think at the start. According to how the XML divides the toons up, there's about 96 toons, excluding the SBemails. That's a ratio of 1.4:1 (SBemails:anything else). Personally, I don't think I'd ever really realized they'd done so much. I always kind of figured there was the SBEmails which took up just about the entire site, then a few toons. Never thought there were so many. Kind of sobering.

Not only that, the "First Time Here?" cartoon isn't even included in the randomizer.....or the Character videos! I wonder what else (if anything) they didn't include...

They included everything acessible from the Toons page, including the features.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Hmmm... Something crossed my mind. They sure suddenly started on a Toons rampage, didn't they? Now I know it's probably to beef up their upcoming DVD, like I suggested in another thread, but there could be another reason too. They may have started working on the rando and said 'Hey, we've got too many SBemails'. Let's try to even them out'. So it could be that until they hit more of a 50-50 ratio, there could be alot more toons, and alot less SBEmails.

I liked this feautre. I liked it so much, that I just had to go and make one for the fanstuff. It's a work in progress. (The embedded coding is driving me nuts!)

Anyways, if anybody wants the LCDd font, I have it from however long back. E-mail me at supersammyfluff@gmail.com if you wants it.

Super Sam: Would you be offended if I were to take your idea and work on it myself?

I have a couple of ideas, but if you want to keep it as your own work that's fine by me too...

I liked it, but the first time I tried it, I got the Tape-Leg e-mail.

They must be screwing with us and wanted to annoy me. Worked. :cheatgrin:

This is most decidedly AAAAHSOME. I have a broken lappy (motherboard problem... WAAAHH!), and so I just got a chance to see this today. It really cheered me up! I'm watching randomly-fetched 'extra plug' right now.. and y'know, this e-mail isn't as bad as I originally said it was.

I'm glad they created this feature. Now when I'm bored I can let the machine pick FOR me! Hooray! My laziness nears completion!

Almost suprising that they haven't done this much sooner, considering they already run the random main page thing.

Well... it'd be mostly pretty things during the randomisation, and some backend niceties to make it easier to make the xml...

mostly stuff that would be easier to do than to explain ;)

Well I know what kind of backend niceties you're talking about. If I don't get my problem (Exhibit A) (Exhibit B) sorted out, I'll think about it. Right now I'm kinda on a roll.

That defines the kind of object that it is. For example, Teen Girl Squad is

<!-- teen girl squad tgs -->
<tgs n="Teen Girl Squad #1" u="tgs1.html"/>
<tgs n="Teen Girl Squad #2" u="tgs2.html"/>
<tgs n="Teen Girl Squad #3" u="tgs3.html"/>

When it comes to the Cheat, it's:

<!--- cheat stuff teh-->
<teh n="New Boots" u="newboots.html"/>
<teh n="Crazy Cartoon" u="crazycartoon.html"/>
<teh n="Everybody to the Limit" u="fhqwhgads.html"/>

I don't know why they chose teh. I guess The Cheat is a leet kinda guy. :cheatgrin:

Hmm, quick question about the random button:

Who else is spending a LOT more time on HomestarRunner.com now that this thing has made its debut?

I know I have. I've watched like, 20 toons in the past three days.

I am right around 50, I guess. It probably won't belong until I have seen everything on the site.

I've just been using this a lot. I especially like Strong Bad's sound effects. This was a good addition.

I wish the Random Toon thing would pick something other than SBemails! 9 times outta 10 it picks a sbemail! We have a random.bat for sbemails, why do we need this?

It's done to include everything accesible from the Toons menu (as someone else said), but I agree that they should have a button that excludes the sbemails.
