My first thing I ever watched was "Japanese Cartoon" In the Strong Bad E-mails.

The first toon I saw was "The Luau"

The first one I ever saw was "The Best Decemberween Ever", and I haven't been able to watch Deep Impact without cracking up since.

How funny...a lot of people's first toon was Japenese cartoon.

It was for me too actually. I saw it because at that time I was really hooked on anime and I thought that email was awesome because of course it had the whole anime style down. Then I watched Trogdor the week after.

It wasn't until a lot later when I sat down at the computer late one night watching all the SBemails. Thats' when I truely became a fan

I know this is embarrassing, but my first toon was A Folky Tale. I have the fondest memories of abusing the "Isn't that great?" line.

Toon? Probably A Folky Tale. D:
Dragon was the first Homestar-related thing I ever saw, though...but it wasn't enough to grasp me. The first e-mail I saw when I first started watching Homestar religiously was "Geddup Noise" XD;

I'm somewhat new to the Homestar Runner scene. Actually, I'm really new. The record book e-mail had just come out the first time I really went on the site. I think "Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon" and "Where's the Cheat?" were the first 'toons that I watched.

"I don't think the Cheat is going to make it!" I think that's still my favorite part of anything TBC has made.

SBEMail: theme park when it first came out. I went back 2 months later and watched the character videos and the museum stuff. I went back a month later and watched Strong Bad is in Jail, the rest of the big toons, Experimental Film, all of the MAMs, and the SBEMails down from "other days" to "caffeine". All in the same day. I'm pathetic.

I actually did it right, I think.

The first thing I saw on HR was the Character's Page. Even the introductions made no sense to me. A year later and....well...

The important thing is, I'm learning. -Krazed Squirell

I'm pretty sure it was the KoT toon. I didn't think it was that awesome, but the sbemails kept me coming back from time to time.

<Strong Sad>I feel a little sorry for those of you who started watching only a couple of years ago. You must have been completely lost from all of those running gags and inside jokes. </Strong Sad>

<Digitally Altered Voice>Instead of just telling of what my first homestar toon was, I'm going to tell you the whole story. But I don't have time right now so you will have to wait till tomorrow. As in all forums I'm in, I tend to have very long posts when I really want to get my point across.

I would NARRATE a preview for this but once again I don't have time right now. If anyone wants to narrate my real life situation, go ahead. Just don't hit me in the face with anything that has a face of its own.</Digitally Altered Voice>

<Tour Guide> (K'GHK)Now get ready to experiance the FURY Of... My First Homestar Memories that no one even cares about...(K'GHK)</Tour Guide>

<Digitally Altered Voice> It all started in Dallas County, Alabama, March of 2001. My sister and her husband had just come back from Springfield, Missouri looking at a college they wanted to go to. After they described the campus they told us that a couple of guys they met in the computer room showed them something funny, however, my brother in law couldn't remember the address. But he did remember one word..."Jorb"...

Thanks to google he found a link to 'A Jorb Well Done'. That was without a doubt one of the most befuddling things I have ever seen. I kept asking questions like "what's that big round thing?" or "what's with the mexican wrestling guy?". Thankfully it did not stop there. We moved on to a couple more toons. One of which was 'The House that gave Sucky Treats'. Though there were a couple of inside jokes I did not get, it did have all the characters lined up in an orderly fashion. I think what hooked me was when we watched a few of the sbemails, the newest of which was 'Stand Up'.

I would have looked at the whole site that very night, but unfortunately, all we had was 56k Dial Up on an outdated computer. As you no doubt remember, the smallest of downloads took what seemed a life time to complete on that kind of connection, if no one needed the phone. Without the luxury of broadband, that we all take for granite these days, it took me about two weeks to watch the rest of the site. One thing that really kept me coming for more was the promise of a new email. My first new email 'Tape Leg' did not fall short of expectations.

I think I 'Hopped on the Band Wagon' just before it really started to gain speed. After that I could safely say that I have seen everything and understood all the jokes. The best time to start watching was most definitely just before the tandy had scroll buttons.

Appearantly no one in the area other than us had ever heard of Homestar Runner. Thanks to my sister's trip to another state I was given the honor of introducing Dallas County to homestarrunner.com. I doubt that it has spread far, but every little bit helps.

I'm not completely sure, but I think the first toon I saw was either a Strong Bad email or Experimental Film...

733n grr1 5qu4d, but that doesn't count, Modeling, but that's a sb_email, so...it would be...BUG IN MOUTH DISEASE

I started watching cuz some nerds at my school were (thats what ya get for going to computer club-nerds obbsessed w/ flash cartoons)

So over the course of the summer I just started watching aaaaaaaaallll the sb_mails (took me a few weeks)

And i discovered my friends were closet homestar fans, and then I got my other friends to see it.

So far, there's only been one who didn't like it. And he hated it.

Even though that toon was more like a story book, still. I think that's why most people don't like H*R because I show them a not so good toon and they think every thing else will be like that... :((
