Ah, the first halloween toon.

It's my personal favorite. While it may not have the character designs we know today, it is still a good one.

Discuss.

Isn't sb_enail doing these? Oh well. It was a pretty good cartoon. Strong Sad has a great knack of ruining everything.

he had his glory.
yeah, that is a good one. it would also lead to a question: does the goblin, gremlin or visor robot even exist?

Of course they are!
Well, it is a good one. I especially like the part with strong bad talking about the robot destroying everything, and when :bubs: was going crazy over his car.
The only bad part is that when they are showing all those bikini girls, and my family is home, I have to minimise the window, and watch the desktop background as I listen to the giggling and bubbles on the headphones (not purposefully on headphones, I listen to everything on my head phones.

The Goblin and the Gremlin do. The Goblin was in Where's The Cheat, as well as 3 Times Halloween Funjob, while The Gremlin was in dangeresque 3, as well as Where's The Cheat.

Hey Everybody, lay off using the emoticons in replace for the character's name. Just because I'm friends with you at school doesn't mean you can be lazy.

Oh and even the sb_enail did one on a Jorb Well Done, I was "inspired" by it and did this one, mainly because this was the first halloween toon I saw.

This is probably my second favorite Halloween toon. I like when the Goblin shows up.

I like this one if only because Homestar is dressed like Kurt Cobain. If that's not the top of cool, I don't know what is.

If Homestar started so sing like Kurt Cobain. Now that would have been awesome.

Nirvana pwns all other bands. Including yours.

That would have made my life complete. *puts in Lithium and tries to imagine it with Homestar's speech impediment*

And you'll see! Negative Zero will be the best band ever! As soon as I learn to play an instrument!

I really enjoy this Halloween toon...one of my favorites.

By the way, I'm pretty sure sbenail.com is doing these flashback things, so I'd refrain from making these from now on.

It's not better than Green Day. And Blessed Thorn (my band) will totally pwn your butt!

Anyway, this is the best halloween toon one. It's hilarious, plus Homestar is dressed as Cobain and Strong Bad as Carmen Miranda!

Homestarloween was great. Some classic H*R humor at its finest.

I liked this one becuase I just loved it how they were building on the story based on their personalitys. And because when I first watched Homestar I really could care less about the character designs.

I got a kick out of Homestar dressed up as Kurt Kobain because my elementary (i'm in middle/junior high school now) school had a talent show in 5th grade, and I sung the Weird Al song "Smells like Nirvana" and I was dressed up almost exactly like Homestar. :p

My favorite part was Bubs' in-depth description of the trickings-out of the AMC Gremlin. The flux capaciter was a nice touch!

Hey!

Anyways.
I still think all the halloween episodes were funnier than the first,
The first one is funny too, though.

Oh, I liked those. Especially the Strong Lib that was on Marshmello or a Jumping Jack contest (can't remember witch one). I have dial-up, and it was taking a while, so I figured out witch words were witch and made some really dirty libs... ;)

I liked those, you could skip it if it loaded, but they were the best.

Anyhoo. Jorb. I didn't really like this one. Not the funniest one.

"... and none of them lived."

A classic Strong Sad ending to a classic Halloween cartoon.

However Pumpkin Carve-nival is still my favorite.

This was the precise toon that got me hooked to H*R. It was relatively short but very much sweet, and it remains as one of my ultimate favorites to this day. There weren't too many gimmicks, the plot was relatively simple but in many parts hilariously funny. Many of the characters got a chance to shine during 'ghost story time' and I believe this toon is a cornerstone in character development. An old toon, but very well done.

Strong Sad completely steals the show in this one. His section of the story never fails to give me a laugh. He's just pure puppydog sadness and can't understand why his ideas repel fellowship. Strong Sad was never quite the same after he got a big dose of sarcasm with extra whine. I so miss the 'old' Strong Sad.

It was okay for me, but when you think about it, it was the origin to a lot of running gags. The vizor robot, the Goblin, that car...thing, and the sad kids. It was funny too.

"And he used to do this spooky daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaance!"

I know that The Cheat is supposed to be Garfield, but there could have been a lot more added to him to make him even more like him. For instance, the lip thing under his nose and the ears. All I could recognize of Garfield here were the big eyes, the nose and Pooky the teddy bear. What gives?

:bubs: : And, the goblin, he had a Gremlin! And he jacked it up on some fat tires, and uh, and he tuned it up on some 4.11 positrak out back, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bore over 30, 11-to-1 pop-up pistons turbo jets 390 horsepower! I mean, he had some freakin' muscle!

(^-^)

Using emoticons is alright, it's the over use of them that's a problem. It's when people continuously use them instead of the actual names that tends to get annoying.
