At first when I first saw the easteregg I thought it would be about Magma actually. Or like Strong Mad using fake lava...

Wow, Prophet, now that is a keen example of analysis. But I don't think TBC are the spawns of Satan. That's Microsoft's job.

I guess this is as good a place as any for my First post, given where my name comes from.

I LOVED this answer machine!
It is absolutely fantastic.. a great return to the MAM stuff.

But It was ALL about the KoTinthe2003plus3 :kot:

aw.. now i can't get the remix outta my head :p i give it an 8/10

i did notice something though, kinda pointless, but i wanna throw it in there, here goes: :D

do ya think that the KOT's cutting an album is somehow related to Marzipan's answering machine 6?

"nobody really likes me"
"i thought maybe you could give me some pointers.. "
"I could get them something like.. " from answering machine #6

his album's probably a "desperate" cry for attention to "the guys"

um.. nevermind.. just wanted to throw it in there XP

Probably one of the best anwsering machines yet. I loved The Homestar Runner's mesage. And the KOT's song.

Meh.

The only great part I could think of was Teh C's remix of the KOT song thing. THAT MUST BE A MUSIC VIDEO ON THE NEXT DVD PLZKTHXBYE.

EDIT: Oh, and SB's prank. I loved it.

W0rd brother!!!!! I'm a linux user myself, although I do use windows occasionally for games.

As for the answer machine, I loved it, the KOT's song was catchy, and teh c's remix was even better, Old timey :sb: 's message was okay... Lasagna, Garfield. Old timey :hr: 's was a little too... uh... it seemed like they were trying too hard to make it funny, and :sb: 's message really confused me...
But Homestar talking into a banana, that was classic, and it's the second food object he's used as a phone (he used a twinkie in the "where the crap are we?" easter egg).

Marzipan eats dirt?!?!?!?!

I think SB's prank with the magazine was good, but it kinda gets old on me. And the Homestar Runner, which has been long gone (despite that easter egg in sbemail: high school) came back with grace and loads of old-timey talk which I love.

But how did the cheat got the original KOT song? did he use a phone bugger or something?

It's a The Cheat, he'll figure out a way somehow. He's like the yellow, furry version of MacGuyver.

How'd he whip up that remix of "I Freakin' Hate You Sibbie" within two seconds of Strong Bad saying it? He is a man... sorry, a The Cheat of mystery

I'm heartbroken it wasn't the QotD this week though. I was all set to drop it onto my next mix CD. I'll have to extract it from the file itself now

I agree, great answering machine this week. Did anybody else notice a strange sound in the background during Marzipan's opening message? Sounds sort of like a video game sound effect. Happens right after "eating some dirt".

I couldn't hear anything myself. Marzipans recording isn't that great, but the Chaps could have done that to mimic how answer machine messages aren't of a top notch sound quality

I mean, yeah, his name's "The Cheat!" Or maybe he was hiding out behind the King of Town. Mmmm.

But this weak's QotW is nevertheless classic. That's my favorite TGS AND one of my favorite Strong Sad lines!

How do you think the Homestar Runner communicate through a soup can?
Maybe there's a connection between it and Homestar using a banana as a phone.

bannana as a phone. ARGBLBLBL, you just reminded me of the infamous bannana phone XP.

anyway, this was an awesome answering machine.
The Kot remix was the best part, it won't go away from me.

Wasn't that a Twinkie?

Yep, it was. So apperently, Strong Bad has the super power to take cold ones caps and H*R's hat off with his mind, and Homestar has the power to use food items as a phone.

You can't always use food items as food. I mean, have you ever had a school lunch? Uuhhhg...

Could Marzipan be pregnant? She sure sounds depressed, and she's eating dirt
Quote:
* Eating dirt is a practice common among pregnant women, especially in rural societies. The day after this toon was released, The Brothers Chaps announced at Flashforward 2006 that Missy Palmer (the voice of Marzipan) was pregnant.

Oh my gosh, what did I just say???

Anyways, it was cool, only a pity it hadn't any Polish people calling :P
3 Marzipans: :marzi: :marzi: :marzi:
