Man, that IS a tough choice. Now my first thought was: are we evaluating the songs themselves, or their treatment as videos? Because fhqwhgads is okay as a song, but it's a by-golly-excellent video. But I finally voted for Experimental Film. I felt like it wasn't entirely fair because it was already an excellent song even before it was HR'd, but its visual treatment was "commensurate with its [musical] merit." When that was made, after the first viewing I sat there for a good ten seconds after it was done--I'm not kidding--with my mouth open staring at the screen. I felt like it represented such an exponential leap beyond anything that had been done on the HR site before.

That said, I felt the same way about fhqwhgads when I first discovered it, and it was an extremely close second; once I saw the results I wished my vote could have gone for it.

Although I like The Ballad of the Sneak, I found Different Town great. That was my favourite song. :sb:
