Okay, so if it's Homestar's tenth birthday, does this mean it's also Strong Bad's tenth birthday, too?

I don't think that's the point.

HAPPY DECADE, HOMESMAN! :hr:

What a great surprise. I didn't realise it had been so long.

Here's to another ten. ;)

My scorecargage :senor: for this toon reads: 10/steak pie*

* Not the cheap petrol station type either. :D

What an amazing toon! It was everything I was hoping for in an old-school update. The plug, kicking The Cheat, everything!

Happy birthday, Homestar Runner!

Fantastic. It was kind of like the truth behind the legend. The thing that separates Homestar Runner from all the other main characters that got upstaged by thier supporting cast is that Homestar can steal the show right back again anytime. This cartoon is proof.

I'm not sure if this has been suggested, buut does anyone think for the site's 10th anneversiary or for Homestar's 15th/20th they'll make Strong Bad's version of it a toon? I might have already said this before, but oh well, I added more detail to the idea this time.

I never realized how much of a Final Fantasy nut I was 'till I watched this.

:hr: kicking :cheat: = bicycle kick, right, but I immediately thought... ...Sphere Shot.

A bunch of red seedless grapes for not-hardly identifying the reference.

That's... odd.

Very odd.

Anyway, I loved this toon. I think it's awesome that they went back and redid the original book, and they pulled it off great, too. It's so cool to see the story and the lost characters modernized.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOMESTAR!

This is pretty much what I wanted. And it turned out perfectly.

It's like the Homestar we all love and has classic material in it - Strong Bad being the overall villain. The Announcer showing up again.

AND MR. BLAND!

LOLness. I loved the Reality TV show style of introducing the characters (see current avatar). And the high-five between Pom-Pom and HSR was classic.

Awesome. Now I'm stuck thinking the same thing. ;)

And, for the red seedless grapes: Final Fintasy X, Blitzball.

That was SO awesome. Mr. Bland worked pretty well too...I'd love to see more of him!

As for Senor, I haven't had a chance to go back and listen again, but I thought he said "I see the light!" ...instead of "I still alive!"

I also liked how they managed to bring back lots of lines from the book while keeping the characters up-to-date with the modern personalities. "You guys are not very strong," "I'm gonna uncover that cheat," etc.

Infinity/10

Excellent! I had always thought about what if they remade the original comic book. Pure genius!

This + the fact that I got my Star Wreck: Legacy dvd today made this day perfect. :)

No, you're not. P: I think it was really low for everybody.

Still a great cartoon.

On a second watching, I've think I've uncovered one of those little things that just rocks out loud in my book.

"That Strangest Man in the Universe contest ain't gonna win itself!"

Roffle.
