I wonder what nickname he gave the bus station. XD

It was ok, but it didn't answer anything. So does this mean that this is the end of the Lappy Era? It's the only official computer that hasn't deleted anything yet! I guess the next computer could be a junky pocket pc though...

Just got the chance to watch this 'un. I thought it was pretty amusing. Strong Sad's "spit bubble", Homestar's "crocodile thing" and Marzipan impression, the KoT trying to be a rock guitarist. I also liked the Dolph Hauhagen easter egg:

"How many times per day do you ask yourself 'Why do I suck?' I believe that with my battle-axe lessons, we can cut that number down to two or three."

I thought it was pretty good for what it was: a nice short toon that hammers home to importance of the missing Lappy. It reminds me of some other short toons, like the one with the fiberglass Cheatar, the Trogdor game, and (as someone mentioned) the ones before the 100 and 150th emails. It's a small piece to a larger tapestry.

I think some folks here are a bit too hard on this. Sure, it doesn't answer any questions, but it's doing something else: building up anticipation. There was speculation last week that maybe the Chaps will forget the whole "Who stole Lappy?" question and pretend that nothing happened. Now we know that's not the case.

I also don't mind if the Chaps want to draw out the resolution even further. The "Who stole Lappy?" question has generated a lot of fun discussion, and it's probably one of the few e-mails with a continuing plot. I'd hate for the fun to end so quickly. :)

17 guitars with a total of 43 necks makes for an average neck ratio of 2 and a half, if anyone's wondering.

Haha. Homestar with Marzipan's voice= instant win.

I laughed at  with that Darth Vader/James Earl Jones-style voice, too.

That was pretty funny, but it smelled like filler to me.

So wait a minute, the KOT ATE SB's lappy? That doesn't sound right.

Homestar/Marzipan voice was funny. XD

Well, like most people, I'm wondering what's happening to the Lappy, but it's still better to get this rather than nothing. The Homestar part was pretty funny.

Whoa, continuity?! In the Homestar Runner universe?!

Although, I have to admit, the Marizpan-Homestar part was hilarious.

I know I'm new, but here's my opinion on this.

First of all, I think it does have to be a main character.

Second, I'm going to rule out anyone that was in any of the cliffhangers & resolutions (I'm assuming that they were resolving the cliffhangers and weren't around, though this doesn't have to be true). This eliminates Homestar, Strong Bad, The Cheat, Strong Sad, Coach Z, Bubs, KOT, and Homsar.

That leaves four possibilities. Strong Mad, Marzipan, Pom Pom, and Poopsmith. I don't think it would be Strong Mad. The person who did this had to have at least basic intelligence. Marzipan might have a motive, but she doesn't want to hurt anything, even a computer, so for that reason, she's eliminated. Finally, there's no reason that the Poopsmith would do it. He doesn't have much against Strong Bad. In fact, Strong Bad's been nicer to him than anyone else.

So, I think that...Pom Pom did it!

Or a conspiracy between most of the main characters.

I think it was Pom Pom, though.

I was a little disappointed with the 09/25 toon, but I still enjoyed it. The spit bubble thing was funny, and battle axe lessons are hard core. I hope we get more closure next week.

Where do I sign up for those battle axe lessons?! That sounds hella tight!

It was pretty funny. I wish it'd been longer though. You know, more like a Marzipan's Answering Machine. The Battle Ax lessons part cracked me up, tho. ^_^

"How many times a day do you ask yourself, 'Why do I suck?'"

I wonder if the KOT really DID eat the Lappy... 0.o

We'll hopefully find out soon. Atleast we know that SB actually misses his Lappy.

I dunno. It was like a mix between Marzipan's Answering Machine and, uh... I dunno, general Strong Bad.

Interesting. The main function of this seems to be to make a bigger deal out of the lappy nappy. I was one of the ones who thought they would just kind of forget about it by now....this is very good. Wonder how it will turn out. And, again, even in what is not their 'best' work, the chaps keep turning out amazing quotes that I don't even realize are amazing until I hear other people say them.
Quote:
Battle Ax Lessons! "How many times a day to you say to yourself, 'I suck'?"

Another such quote comes from 'theme song'. "Do you make butt at your job? Would you like to make twice butt?" I didn't even notice that was awesome until my friend started saying it all the time.

Hmm, thought of something else. What if they do drag this out longer? What if the running theme through the next ten e-mails or so centers around him trying to find the napper of the lapper? ??

Ten e-mails? I hope they don't stretch it out THAT long.

Yeah....ten would be way too many. The next e-mail he'll probably use The Cheat's computer again, and from there try to find his Lappy.

You know, I had a thought pop into my head that this'll be drawn out until the Halloween cartoon, which will be Strong Bad searching through a haunted mansion in Scooby-Doo fashion for the Lappy. Then at the end...

"Now time to find out who it was that stole the Lappy!"

*epic unmasking*

"Aww, it was the Goblin dressed as a creepy old monsterman!"

*dance*

Is this the end of the lappy? I wonder if Strong Bad will get a new computer. Hey, it is possible. I bet if he does it will be an even carpier computer than ever before.

I think Mr. Bland did it, or maybe Senor.
