Post subject:  Your favorite chars?
Which H*R characters are your favorite? Personally I would be curious about the top three or five, because I do think alot of people will have Strong Bad and Homestar as their favorite, but feel free to list anyone and why or put all twelve in order from favorite to least or vice versa, or whatever you feel like. Or maybe mention least favorites too, if you have any.

Personally I can't decide if Strong Bad or Homestar is my first favorite myself. Strong Bad well... there is so many reasons to like him, both his wit and his sillyness. And Homestar.. well not only do I find him almost as hilarious as SB, he also REALLY reminds me of a guy I used to know who talked kinda like that and was about equally bright as our armless protagonist.

My second, or third, depending how you view it, favorite would be Coach Z though. I can't really decide why actually, but there is just something intensly likeable about him. Not to mention I dig his way of talking.

After that I'd say Strong Mad. I mean... that origami project alone...

And after him Homsar, for obvious reasons, I suppose.

And in case anyone is curious, the rest of the list after that goes Strong Sad (I particularly like him when he's arguing with Strong Bad), The Cheat, Bubs, Pom Pom, Marzipan/KoT (Like them about equally, but do like them) and finally the Poopsmith (Whom I don't so much dislike but don't feel particularly strong about either way because he just doesn't do that much besides shoveling!)

I'd give the Goblin an honorary shared spot with Bubs though... He's a green Goblin... that looks around... and does a dance! Well.. okay maybe he doesn't get an honorary spot, but I like the little guy. And he should show up in every halloween. And the little green guy can certainly kick Marshie's fluffypuffy butt.

Come to think of it.. Marshie doesn't really HAVE a butt though.. and thats a good thing. Marshmellows should not have butts.

My favourite would probably have to be Coach Z. Like Pardalis, I can't really justify it, but he's very likeable and has a lot of great moments. Homestar is also quite high up on the list, simply for being so hilariously slow. The KoT as well. I wouldn't really rank Homsar among my list of favourites, although he is a funny character. He's just too spontaneous to win my affection, unlike most of the others.

Believe me, I tried, but American Law prevents natives of other countries such as myself to become the president.

Now maybe I could become vice-president... Then the president can have an uh... 'accident' (on some sort of trip where I can't come because I happen to have the flu at that moment.) And then I can be president after all.

As representative of England(e), I, Strong Lad, hereby declare that the marshmellow should not have anything representing a posterior in the country, nor shall the marshmellows have posteriors in embassies representing England(e) in the EU, and commonwealth.

Now, what the heck was this topic all aboot? Oh yes, the character thing.

Anyways, my favourite is the Coach Z. He has just the best lines in the cast, and has the style and flair of a character to be remembered.
Then it's Homsar. For similar reasons. Alright, the same reasons. THEN, we get to Strong Bad, innovator of E-mail jingles, and expert songsman. I now know why he mentions that he's the reason I found the site.
Think about it. Would you be at H*R if it were not for Strong Bad?

Here they all are in order of preference:

First place: Strong Sad. He's cool, and not so whiny anymore. I bet SB only pummels him because he's jealous. His performance in Caffeine was amazing too.
Second place (Ding!): The Cheat. How can you not like a little furry guy with a gold tooth who works for pencil shavings? His flash animations rock the house.
Good prize: Homsar. Just pure, random goofiness. Me likes.
Fourth place: Oh no, it's-a Stwong Baaad! The king of the email and all around criminal element is truly the reason why you're here.
Not last place: Homestar. He's the protagonist for cryin' out loud! And his innocent stupidity still delights me.
Sixth place: Coach Z. He's pretty fly for a white guy, but not the best. Sometimes he can be disturbing.
Seventh place: Bubs. He's got his moments, like the Thnikkaman and his "Check it out" dance, but overall is pretty generic. Actually, he's kinda growing on me. Most improved! Ding!
Worst place: The KoT. I just tend to ignore this guy, and he doesn't really do much anyway. His Halloween appearances, however, are gold.
Ninth place: PomPom. When was the last time he did anything funny? He's still cool because he's a bubble.
Tenth place: Strong Mad. I can barely understand him, and usually I don't bother to try. I just don't like him for no reason that I can say.
2nd to last place: The Poopsmith. Like PomPom, he doesn't really do much. But he is also burdened with being the butt of immature jokes.
Last place: Marzipan. Why must the only feamle character be so annoying? I can't think of a single thing I like about her.

The cheat! idk why, i mean, usually everyone says the main...er...characters, like strong bad and homestar, and i understand why, cuz they are the focus, and the cheat is...sidekick. but i've always luved him the most! of course i luv homestar and strong bad, but they are just an itty bitty fraction behind the cheat.

I love the King of Town. He isn't used that often, but when he is, he becomes the hilight of the toon. (e.g. "Super Kingio Bros")

I'm not a really big fan of KoT, and no one in Strong Badia OR Free Country USA likes him, even though I've heard that The King of Town is Marzipans dad.

Even though I took a test and it said I was most like :cheat: ,
I would defenitely say that my favorite character is :homsar: .
Because every time they get him on that website in a cartoon, he
does something funny. I wish they would put him on more. Even though the stuff he says dosen't make any sense. :homsar:

My favorite is Strong Bad -- unlike most popular things, he's popular for a reason. After that I'd have to say Coach Z, then The Cheat. Homestar can be really great or fall really flat for me...so his position isn't really a constant. The only character I really don't like is Marzipan, though. (Granted, her answering machines are hilarious but that has already been discussed.)

Why do you dislike Pom-Pom? Just curious...

Although I don't feel this way myself, I can see why people would dislike Marzipan, KoT or the Poopsmith. But whats wrong with Pom Pom? At worst he'd still seem inoffensive to me. Not really something actively dislikeable...

Pom Pom just takes up space. His personality basically consists of "the loyal friend that everyone loves", which doesn't give him much room for humor. He can't even be a foil to someone else's craziness because he doesn't talk. And what sort of annoys me about Pom Pom is that he's assumed to be this lovable, friendly character, but with the exception of the original children's book and the first few cartoons that TBC made, we almost never see him doing anything particularly lovable or friendly. In fact, we almost never see him doing anything at all besides bouncing around and lending a voice of agreement when necessary.

But maybe if they used him a bit more and gave him some more personality, he'd grow on me.

Pan-Pan rules by the way. He's a good bear. :)

PomPom is a PIMP!

Watch more toons with PomPom in 'em.
You'll see a funny underlying theme that all the ladies love him and he's all "bubble bubble" whatever about it.

It's funny.
