I'd have posted this earlier if I hadn't only just discovered this site a few days ago...

Anyway, I also posted this in the Wiki, but so people know I didn't make it up, The Brothers Chap came to my college, the University of Central Florida and did some Q&A and a nifty little show. Someone had the foresight during one of the Q&A's to ask them what 20X6 Homestar's name was. They answered "One Up" or "Extra Man." They seemed to still be deciding, since they have yet to say his name in any of the cartoons.

I think I'd prefer Homestar better. None of this other name stuff! It would just kinda ruin things..... particularly if they used those names.

I read some other sites that said his name was "The Kid", but I'm not sure.

Popular fanfic author Rabid Wookiee Yankovich claims his name is Home Starboy...

Sweet! Man, I didn't know TBC did press conferences...
I hope that wasn't sarcasm...

Apparently, they have done shows at a few colleges. Our digital media department invited them down (probably to drum up interest in the department) after noticing the interest this site was generating in their program. A fellow over at Strongfans.com also sent me a private message after I mentioned it over there and said they did one at the University of Florida. In addition, TBC brought along some footage they shot of Homestar puppet messing around in Ottawa (I believe...). They filmed similar footage for us, but unfortunately they lost the sound and had to improvise with what footage they could still use with Matt doing the voices live.

I privately call him "Starboy" or "Super Star"

Yes, (wink wink) it could be good. Sounds like a number one fanfic. (In my dreams)

I call him Ratsemoh. Can anyone guess why?

I think it should be something unrelated to HomeStar, like how Stinko Man is to Strong Bad.

Well, you have to remember, "Stinkoman" came from the email 'island', which was 4 emails BEFORE 'japanese cartoon' came out.

Couldn't possibly begin to imagine...

Anyway, I'm agreeing with a few other people here.. I think it should be less Homestar-related, and more like a cheesy Japanese cartoon character, like Kikaida (even though he's not a cartoon).

Is that the best you can do? A full stop. Are you suggesting that Homestar will come to an end or something?

His name is 1-up, from the Stinkoman game.

It was als stated in an interview or something like that that his name was going to be 1-up.

I agree, I like/think 1-up is a great name. It's abstract like Stinkoman yet somehow strikes a resembalence to the charecter.

TBC reffered to him as 1-UP like, 3 times now! No doubt it is!
