I can do it all, man! Except for Pom Pom and Pan-pan. Can't do the bubbling. Oh, and Marzipan in any time period, and Keyboard Head Strong Bad. Oh, and That Goblin. My best is probably the Coach Z, Homestar, The Cheat, Strong Sad, Homsar, Strong Mad, or The King of Town. It's not too hard to imitate them all, since they're done by very few people.

I can do most except I can't do Marzipan, the cheat, Bubs or the KOT.
Too hard. I guess I can't do Pom-pom either, but I don't think anyone can.

If you can successfully tell me what exactly his accent is, I will give you a Grumblecake. Maybe.

I can do a good The Cheat. I can also play The Poopsmith and Pom Pom, like everyone else.

Like most of the girls on this forum, I have a hard time doing most of the voices. But some how my best ones seem to be Bubs and Homesar. Don't ask me why but Homestar is sooooo hard!

Actully, for my very first flash presentation (Trogdor mechs) at the end im going to have all of the characters come in so that means I get to have fun with all of the voices. ^_^v My dad does a awesome Strong Bad... it's like they are one of the same. 0_0

I can do the Cheat, Strong Sad, and kind of Homsar. But hey, I'm still going through puberty. :)

I can now do all the main characters, now I have to work on the secondary characters.

Yeah, I can intimidate a lot of people, cause I'm pretty tall, and when I wear my uniform, I look like a real life GI Joe!

What? Imitate? Oh...
Yeah. I can do Strong Bad, Coach Z, the KOT, Bubsie, and a little Homestar.

Who I can do: Strong Bad (my best - I like talk like him all the time, man), The Cheat, Coach Z, Stinkoman, CP (Cheat Powered) Strong Bad, CP Homestar, CP Coach Z, and Old Timey Homestar.

I can probably do some other ones, but I can't think of them right now or havn't tried it yet.

I can impersonate the college guys from TGS pretty well. One of my friends, however, has an UBERLY GOOD impersonation of the four main characters of TGS.

Being an Aussie, my accent (which sounds strangely English more than anything) makes it difficult for impressions.

However, I have been made aware that my Teen Girl Squad, KOT and Homsar impressions are not bad. My Strong Bad & Homestar are meh, and Senor Cardgage ain't too bad.

However, is someone ready for a CHALLENGE???!!!

Could we hear you record your impressions and upload them on a geocities esque server?

Sure, I know somebody said being a girl made it fairly hard to do impressions. I can do Homestar, the Brothers Strong, The Cheat, my Bubs isn't that great, I can do Coach Z, my Marzipan's believe it or not, not that great. I need equipment to do Pom-Pom, I can do the King of Town, the Poopsmith couldn't be easier, and Homsar is probably easy but I rarely ever feel like impersonating an imbecile. And the best part is they're all in character! It's fairly hard for me not to smile while being Strong Sad

I can do a "Chibified" Coach Z. But sometimes I really have to struggle to get it right sometimes. I can also sometimes to The Cheat.

Man, Strong Bad is the easiest, what about the cheat and the KoT? (High voices)

I was going to record myself talking in various H*R voices, and then send the links to the files to you guys... but then I listened to the recordings, and found out I wasn't as good as I thought I was... My voice is too low :P

Rats!

I have a really thick New English accent. Actually, I learned in Anthropology today that it's a DIALECT...and of course I had an example made out of me, and everybody laughed at me, and i wanted to get out of there fast...anyway...
For example:
I Pahked My Cah In Hahvahd Yahd...
[ i parked my car in harvard yard.]
(See Also: Peter Griffin, Family Guy)

When you are encouraged to get rid of your accent (for broadcasting and or public speaking), you learn how to manipulate your voice in strange ways. Of course, I'm not going into broadcasting anymore and people in certain places can't understand me...but I like it that way. A nice side effect is the fact that it's easy for me to imitate certain accents. British, Aussie, Many Variations of the Southern United States, Midwestern US, Canadian, French, Portuguese...you get the idea.

Strong Bad's voice, to me, is like that of a Spanish or Italian Playboy. Homestar is a deep voiced two year old boy, Homsar is a Southerner, and Coach Z is from the Northern Midwest!! (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota...see "Fargo"...great movie by the other TBC - The Brothers Coen :ehsteve: )

I can do Homsar. Oddly enough, I can't do Marzipan. But yeah, my Homsar is pretty good. My friends got really annoyed when I kept answering the phone with, "Gaaaah! You shank my Jengaship!"

Anyway, my lament is the same as a few others on this thread-- I'm quite chromosomally defficient.

I was wondering if anyone else had these problems. When you try to do a certain voice, like Bubs and Strong Mad, does your voice get all dry and scratchy? I can only keep their voices up for a little while. Anyways, I've now almost perfected the old timey voices and the 20x6 voices, along with the main character voices.

Why that's quite easy my dear H.W., all you must do is have your lips in a closed position. Unless you want to hiss at someone.

I always thought Strong Bad was Mexican, but his brothers are American

I've tried most of them and people say I do pretty well. Though it's hard to know what I actually sound like. The one I sound most like apparently is Strong Bad. My favourite bit in Homestar to imitate is the 'for kids' e-mail, when he's on air.

My friend has been delving into Macromedia Flash for a lil' over a year, and has thus formed- THE H*R FAN FLASH CLUB!!! All the other members get to do is the voices. So far its only him, me, ad one other. He handles SB. I handle Homestar and Blue Lazor. Theo ther one handles Strong Sad. And the rest of the voices are yet to be filled. We're hoping to get more members, then hopefully start a website with completely legit H*R fanflash, something we've been lookinf for for a long time (we decided eventually that we've have to make it ourselves!).

So in short... I can do Homestar and Blue Lazor really well. THE END!

IT'S OVER!..'D!
